How to Find All Secret Levels in Super Meat Boy 3D

How To Unlock Secret Level 1

Okay, so I just figured out the first secret level in Super Meat Boy 3D! It’s actually hidden right in the very first level. All you gotta do is jump to the left at the start, then jump again to the left from that platform. You’ll need to dodge a trap, but if you nail it, you’ll land right at the purple doorway – that’s the entrance to the secret!

How To Beat Secret Level 1

Okay, so this level totally gives me Mario vibes, and the goal is to rescue Bandage Girl. To do that, I need to grab every coin and star. Here’s the catch: once I pick up the first coin in an area, a timer starts! That means I’ve gotta quickly collect all the other coins nearby, and then the star, before time runs out. It’s a bit of a speedrun challenge, which I’m actually digging!

How To Unlock Secret Level 2

In the Upwind area, fans will launch you into the air. Shortly after starting, you’ll reach a horizontal fan. Before this fan, you can climb the nearby wall and jump into a large pipe. This pipe leads to the game’s second hidden level and glows purple. Be careful not to land on the edge of the pipe, as the toxic slime will instantly defeat you.

How To Beat Secret Level 2

The secret Crash Corps level features a fast-moving vehicle equipped with missiles. It relentlessly drives forward and will explode on impact with the player or any obstacle, forcing a restart.

Players need to create a clear route for the vehicle by crashing through cargo boxes and buildings in its path. Just be careful to avoid or jump over the green goo!

How To Unlock Secret Level 3

Once you’ve progressed through the Pain Production area, you’ll reach a corner. Instead of continuing forward, turn away from the camera. To the right, you’ll see a grinder with a platform above it. Using Nate’s double jump, you can reach that platform. From there, you’ll need to make another long jump, dodging more grinders, to find the entrance to the secret level.

You can still reach this higher area without Nate, but it’ll be more challenging. To unlock Nate, you need to collect 40 Bandages.

How To Beat Secret Level 3

In the Beef Gear Tactix level, you play as Squirrel and need to avoid the moving lights. You can do this by moving quickly, or by hiding under a cardboard box to become invisible.

How To Unlock Secret Level 4

To find the secret level in the Ruinous Tunnel, play through most of the area until you reach the challenging tower section with wall-to-wall jumps. Look for a yellow stained glass window there – breaking it with an air-dash will unlock the secret level.

How To Beat Secret Level 4

As The Kid, players need to avoid spikes while constantly falling and jumping. Using the dash and double jump abilities is key to making it through.

There’s no rush for this level, so take your time and make use of wall jumps to rest.

How To Unlock Secret Level 5

When riding atop a long tram to the right and then jumping onto another that is moving right, players will normally drop down to lower trams, leading to the finish. However, up here, players should hear the music begin to distort, signaling a secret level entrance. Keep riding the small tram to the right, and with Nate, perform a double jump over the grinders. Before being killed by the oncoming cave, jump toward the camera and jump up the metal structure. The secret level waits above.

How To Beat Secret Level 5

To win against Return of the Barrel Boys, you need to jump from barrel to barrel while avoiding the wasps – good timing is essential! Some barrels move, which really emphasizes the importance of precise timing in Secret Level 5. At the very end, after the game launches you, be sure to jump or dash onto the final platform, or you’ll fall and have to restart.

Dark World Secret Levels In Super Meat Boy 3D

Dark World levels are hidden throughout Super Meat Boy 3D, and each world contains 15 of them – a challenging counterpart to the regular levels. You unlock these extra-difficult levels by getting a perfect A+ score on any level within that specific world.

You can’t find bandages to unlock in Dark World levels, but you can still try to get a perfect A+ rating. Once you’ve unlocked the Dark World for a specific level, you can turn it on or off using a button at the bottom of the screen.
