How to Play Adventure Club Scottie’s Big Night in Monopoly GO
This is based on how Adventure Club events have run in the past. It’s been a while since the last minigame, so things might be a little different this time around.
Scottie’s Big Night is a game you play with others! It requires a team of five players – you can’t participate on your own.
Okay, so when it comes to getting a team together, you’ve got a couple of choices. You can play with friends you already have in the game, or just jump in and team up with random players. There’s this little plus sign – a ‘+’ icon – that you can tap to send invites and fill up your squad.
To really succeed in the game, it’s best to play with people who are actively involved. When everyone participates, you’ll make much faster progress. If you don’t have a full team at the start, the game will automatically fill in the missing spots with random players.
The Adventure Club’s “Scottie’s Big Night” minigame has three levels, and each level requires your team to complete certain tasks. You’ll complete these tasks by playing a card game. When the game starts, you’ll see different options, each showing a cost in tokens and a number representing the challenge.
After you make a choice, the game will deal you two cards. Simply add the numbers on those cards together. If the sum is equal to or higher than the number you picked, you win the round and get closer to reaching your goal!
Generally, it’s easier to play with lower numbers. They’re cheaper to use and you’re more likely to win, though you won’t earn as much progress. Higher numbers are more challenging and cost more, but they offer bigger rewards. I prefer to play it safe and usually choose the lower numbers.
Each time you win, you move closer to finishing the task. Losing means you’ll lose the tokens you used and need to try again. As you win rounds, you’ll see a progress bar at the top filling up, and you’ll earn small rewards along the way. When the progress bar is full, you’ll get even bigger rewards.
As I’ve been playing, I’ve found these awesome power cards pop up sometimes, and they can really help you out! They might let you draw an extra card, or even reshuffle the deck, which can totally change things up. It’s a fun surprise when you get one!
You’ll use your own tokens to participate, but your progress helps the whole team, so pitch in when you can! The event only lasts for three days, so don’t delay.
