The award-winning mobile game Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is celebrating its 8th anniversary! Starting April 25th, players can enjoy new content for the Beyond Hogwarts storyline, special themed rewards, and a unique quest featuring a popular character originally introduced in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Since its launch in 2018, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery has been downloaded over 160 million times, with players spending over 100 billion minutes in the game and earning almost 2.25 trillion House Points. Fans can now get a sneak peek at the upcoming anniversary events.
Players have really enjoyed being able to choose their Hogwarts house in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, but the game has become much more than just life at school. It started as a short, 10-chapter experience, but has expanded to nearly 200 chapters covering seven years, with over 50 more chapters and stories added in the Beyond Hogwarts expansions. To mark the game’s 8th anniversary, even more new content is on the way, including returning characters and exciting surprises.
Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery 8th Anniversary Update
Starting April 15th, the third installment of Beyond Hogwarts will be available in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. The final chapter of Volume 2 will reveal how players’ personal and school lives collide. With Sirius Black still on the run, the wizarding world is in chaos, and players will continue to investigate the mysterious Cursed Vaults at Hogwarts – all while dealing with even greater challenges. Fans will be happy to see the entire Weasley family return, and Harry Potter may even make an appearance! Plus, the beloved house-elf Dobby will be joining the fun in this new Beyond Hogwarts update for Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery.
