Funko & McFarlane Toys Debut Their Figures for DC Studios’ Supergirl

The DC Universe got off to a strong start last summer with James Gunn’s Superman, which was a success with both critics and audiences. Milly Alcock also appeared as Supergirl at the end of the film, and now she’s getting her own movie, coming to theaters this June. A new trailer and poster were released this week, giving fans the best look yet at Supergirl’s exciting space adventure. To add to the excitement, Funko and McFarlane Toys have unveiled new Supergirl figures, sure to delight fans as they anticipate the next chapter in the DCU.

A DCU of Endless Collectibles

Funko has released its first collection of Pop! Vinyl figures inspired by the new Supergirl spin-off series. The figures feature Zara Zor-El in her everyday clothes with Cedric, Kara Danvers as Supergirl with her puppy Krypto, and a special Supergirl figure in flight (exclusive to Target). The lineup also includes other characters like Ruthye, Krem of the Yellow Hills, and Lobo, who even has a Pop! Ride figure with his Spacehog motorcycle. Considering David Corenswet’s Superman appears in the film, fans can expect even more Supergirl Funko Pops in the future.

McFarlane Toys is expanding its popular DC Multiverse line of seven-inch action figures with several new releases. Coming soon are figures of Supergirl with her puppy, Krypto, as well as a standalone Supergirl figure, Krem of the Yellow Hills, and Lobo. A special version of Supergirl and Krypto, exclusive to Walmart, will include an extra brown overcoat. Lobo will come with his Spacehog vehicle, sold separately and at the same scale as the figures. The Supergirl figure paired with Krypto will feature a flowing cloth cape with a flexible wire inside, while the standard Supergirl figure will have a traditional rubber cape.

What’s Supergirl About?

The new Supergirl story is inspired by the 2022 comic book series Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow by Tom King. Similar to the comic, Supergirl is embarking on a solo journey through space, accompanied by her dog, Krypto, and coping with the loss of her family and Krypton in her own way – different from how her cousin Clark handles grief. Her travels lead her to Ruthye, a young warrior who hires Kara to hunt down and kill Krem of the Yellow Hills, the man who murdered Ruthye’s father, seeking vengeance.

That very same blade is included in McFarlane’s figure.

Woman of Tomorrow is a fast-paced and exciting story, blending humor, action, and emotional depth as Kara battles her personal struggles. It’s a great fit for a movie.

The new Supergirl movie is scheduled to be released in theaters on June 26, 2026, and will feature performances by Alcocks, Jason Momoa, David Krumholtz, Matthias Schoenaerts, and Eve Ridley. While fans anticipate Kara Zor-El’s return to the big screen after more than 40 years, they can now pre-order new DC Universe figures from Funko and McFarlane Toys on each company’s website.
