I’m so excited about the new Dreamlight Valley update! One of the cool additions is this herb called Fiddleheads, and it’s part of the seasonal stuff. If you’re trying to find it, you’ll want to go to the Forest, specifically around Deer Tower. That’s the only place it grows, usually near the pond and on the paths around there. Honestly, it’s a little trickier to spot than the other event herbs, but once you get used to the area, you’ll find it in small groups that you can easily collect!
In the game Heartopia, fiddleheads are primarily used to make the Wild Bracken Celtuce Taco – one of the recipes you need to collect all event recipes. Once you establish a regular farming path, growing fiddleheads becomes significantly simpler.
Where to Find Fiddlehead in Heartopia
Fiddleheads only grow in the Forest, near the pond by Deer Tower. This area is bigger than other places where you find herbs, so the plants are more spread out.
This plant resembles a fern, with its delicate, curled green leaves, giving it a softer, more natural look than plants with bright green leaves like mustard greens. If you walk around the pond at a leisurely pace, you’ll generally find several patches without having to search very far.

Like other herbs in Dreamlight Valley, fiddleheads grow back quickly after you pick them – usually in about two and a half minutes. This means you can efficiently harvest them by moving between patches instead of waiting for one spot to replenish.
