How to Loot Assessors (Closed Scrutiny) in ARC Raiders

A new challenge called “Close Scrutiny” has been added to ARC Raiders. Every few minutes, special containers called Accessors appear on the map, offering valuable loot. However, opening them attracts dangerous flying enemies called ARCs, making it a tough event. Fortunately, players can use strategies to make “Close Scrutiny” more manageable in ARC Raiders.

How to Complete Close Scrutiny Map Condition in ARC Raiders

Before starting the event in Esperanza, think about what gear you’ll bring. You have two main options: fight the enemies (ARCs) or use items to sneak past them. Fighting guarantees you’ll get the loot without worrying about lingering ARCs, but it’s tough, especially if you’re playing solo. The event can throw stronger enemies like Rocketeers and Vaporizers at you, making solo combat very difficult.

To sneak past ARCs and steal Accessors without a fight, you’ll want a good supply of Smoke Grenades and Lure Grenades, plus the Photoelectric Cloak. You don’t need powerful weapons since you’re avoiding combat, but it’s smart to have something for self-defense in case you encounter other players.

As a fan, I’ve found I can make a lot of cool stuff in the game! You just need to use the crafting benches and gather the materials – you can get them from Celeste or, if you’ve been collecting, from your own inventory.

The best way to use grenades and your cloak is to throw a Smoke Grenade at the accessible Accessor to create cover. Quickly run in, loot it, and then throw a Lure Grenade behind you to distract enemies. Use your cloak while you escape to stay hidden and get back to a safe location. Wait for the enemy robots (ARCs) to move away, and then you can repeat the process.

It’s simpler to use this approach when playing with a partner or a small team, because one person can gather supplies while the others protect them. Accessors often carry useful items, like the valuable Accessor Matrix and crafting blueprints.
