In his game review, Chris White commented: “Pacific Drive is consistently exciting and never boring. What sets it apart is its excellent soundtrack that streams through your radio, along with the chatter of NPCs over the radio. Even though you’re the sole occupant in the car, the ambiance is captivating. Despite its terrifying moments, the game always manages to impress with how realistically alive the world feels. The combination of storm sounds, noises from your vehicle and the environment, and periods of silence create an exhilarating experience for each run. Ironwood Studios has created something exceptional, and while a failed run can be harsh, Pacific Drive is one of the most innovative and thrilling games of 2024 thus far.

Pacific Drive is out now for PC and PS5.
