The Twisted Thicketway is a simple puzzle in Crimson Desert. To complete it, you need to defeat an Abyss Kutum and then stabilize the Abyss. Here’s a guide to help you solve the Twisted Thicketway puzzle in Crimson Desert.

After you finish the Ancient Sealed Gate puzzle in Crimson Desert, you’ll unlock the Twisted Thicketway Abyss challenge.

Go to the top of Sage’s Peak and stand on the large fan. Turn it on, then use your wings to fly upwards. This will transport you to the Twisted Thicketway, a floating island in the Abyss.

There, stand on an Abyss Nexus to open a fast travel Waypoint in Crimson Desert.

Step forward, and a boss fight against an Abyss Kutum will start.

There are several strategies for defeating the Abyss Kutum in Crimson Desert. The most effective method is to focus your Axiom Force on its glowing red eye, located at the top of its body. Hitting the eye repeatedly will eventually stun the Abyss Kutum, creating a window of opportunity to inflict significant damage.

The Abyss Kutum is immune to standard physical attacks – you can swing your weapon all you want, but it won’t take damage. However, equipping Kliff with Abyss Gears that fire elemental attacks will significantly harm the Abyss Kutum and ultimately stun it.

Stunning Abyss Kutum is a great way to maximize your damage output. Plus, because Kutum attacks slowly and in a predictable pattern within the Twisted Thicketway, you won’t have to heal as often during the fight.

Once you’ve defeated Abyss Kutum, you can repair the Abyss by scaling the structure within the boss arena.

Okay, so to beat that puzzle in Crimson Desert – the Twisted Thicketway one – you have to force the palm action on the Abyss button. Seriously, don’t just tap it, force it! Then, go ahead and claim the Abyss Artifact, and that’ll finally solve the whole thing. It’s a bit finicky, but that’s what worked for me!
