As you journey through the Eternal Corridor, beyond Steamcloud Station and the Steelsail Archipelago, you’ll encounter the Power Core, which attacks with lasers. Fortunately, defeating the Power Core in the Fleet of Archives is simple – all you need is the Nature’s Retribution skill.
Let’s take a look at the Nature’s Retribution skill and how to use it to quickly defeat the Power Core – potentially in just four hits or fewer. Make sure you have your wings and Abyss Artifacts equipped, as this fight is actually quite simple once you understand the strategy.

The Power Core is incredibly dangerous, with lasers that can defeat you in one or two hits, even with full health. Don’t bother using healing items, because any damage you inflict will still be saved even after you respawn.
How to Beat the Power Core and Complete the Fleet of Archives in Crimson Desert
- Obtain the Nature’s Retribution skill by reaching Nature’s Snare Lv 2 (both acquired from the skills menu).
- Use Square/X to fly towards the Power Core, and the fans from below will keep you up and maintain your Stamina.
- The Power Core will shoot lasers at you, so fly close enough and use Focus (L3+R3) in midair.
- During Focus, spin the Right Stick clockwise to activate Nature’s Snare, which will cause you to use Spirit to absorb the lasers.
- Aim at the Power Core and click R3 to fire the absorbed lasers into the Power Core, which will take a fourth of its health bar.
- Repeat the process of using Flight + Focus (L3+R3) + Nature’s Snare (Right Stick Clockwise) + Nature’s Retribution (R3) until the Power Core dies.
After you defeat the Power Core, fly into its open mouth. Inside, you’ll find a teleporter that leads to the next part of the Eternal Corridor. Just be prepared – there’s a tough boss battle ahead, and we’ll show you how to beat it in this guide.
