In Crimson Desert, the Tarivian Necklace is located within a noble’s house in the center of Demeniss. You’ll find the house immediately to the right of the Abyss Nexus, near the castle gate. This necklace automatically revives you when your health drops to zero, making it a valuable item for tough boss fights in Crimson Desert. To obtain the necklace, you must discover a secret room inside the house and solve a music box puzzle. The following explains how to find the room and solve the puzzle.
Crimson Desert Tarivian Necklace Location
The Tarivian Necklace is located at the map marker shown in the image. You’ll find it inside a house filled with nobles in the center of Demeniss. Be aware that if you haven’t finished Chapter 8 of the Crimson Desert story, all the city guards will attack you, making things much harder. To avoid constant fighting, it’s best to complete the main story first.
Go into the noble’s house – you might need a key to get in. Once inside, find a bookshelf in a corner close to the kitchen entrance. Pushing on the bookshelf will reveal a hidden room containing a strongbox.
You can also find a recipe for Pan-Fried Marinated Meat in the kitchen. This dish restores at least 320 HP and 24 Spirit, and also gives you fire resistance for one minute. If you don’t have the recipe, you can learn it by experimenting with Meat, Fruits, Vegetables, and Cooking Oil at a cooking station.
Crimson Desert Tarivian Necklace Music Box Puzzle Solution
- 1-5-2-6-5
To open the strongbox, press the music box tabs in the order shown, reading from left to right. Inside, you’ll find a small box with the Tarivian Necklace. Keep in mind that taking the necklace is considered stealing, so be sure to wear a Mask. Since you’re in a hidden room and no one else is around, you can stay within the red area on your minimap. Simply wait for the crime meter to empty, and you’ll be able to leave without getting caught.
Crimson Desert Tarivian Necklace Stats and Effects
The Tarivian Necklace doesn’t boost your stats at all, and blacksmiths can’t improve it. Its only benefit is the ‘Second Wind’ ability, which completely refills your health when it drops to about 30%. However, this ability can only be used once every 30 minutes, meaning you’ll generally only get one use per battle.
Okay, so I’ve figured out a cool trick with the equipment wheel. I can switch my gear mid-fight, and it’s a lifesaver! I usually fight with my normal necklace, but when my health gets low, I quickly swap to the Tarivian Necklace instead of using a health potion. That triggers Second Wind, which instantly refills my HP to full! Then, I just switch back to my regular amulet and keep fighting like normal. It’s a great way to avoid wasting potions and stay in the action.
Okay, so the Tarivian Necklace can be a little tricky to set up, but honestly, it’s totally worth the effort if you’re trying to avoid using those Refined Palmar Pills. As a fan, I’ve found it’s a great alternative!
