Steam Users Have Until April 16 to Get $164 Worth of Games for Just $18

The latest Humble Bundle, called Humble Heroines, offers incredibly affordable Steam games – you could almost call them free! Customers can choose how much to pay, starting at $18 for six games, which is a fantastic deal. Those who want to contribute more can donate a larger amount, up to $45 or even more, while still getting the games.

These Steam games all feature strong female leads, offering a refreshing change from typical male protagonists and action-packed stories. They perfectly fit the “Humble Heroines” theme and were originally highlighted for Women’s History Month in March. But you don’t have to wait – this great deal is available until April 16! Importantly, a portion of the money from these purchases will be donated to the Girls Make Games Scholarship Fund.

The Girls Make Games Scholarship Fund is a new non-profit organization that helps girls and young women who want to learn how to make video games. They offer financial aid and mentorship for summer camps, workshops, and college programs. So far, they’ve raised $11,000 through donations.

Sorry We’re Closed

Sorry We’re Closed is a survival horror game with a retro look and feel. You play as Michelle, a shop worker who’s been cursed and must navigate a bizarre, demon- and angel-filled version of London. Expect quick, action-packed battles, different endings based on your choices, and a special ‘Third Eye’ ability that reveals a hidden world. It’s a unique indie game that combines scary moments, a compelling story, and a touch of dark humor.

Eastward

Eastward is a charming action-adventure RPG with a beautiful pixel-art style and a compelling story. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where you play as John, a silent protagonist, and Sam, a young psychic. Together, they journey through perilous landscapes, overcome challenging puzzles, and battle enemies. Eastward evokes a sense of nostalgia while offering a detailed and immersive world inspired by classic games.

ANNO: Mutationem

In ANNO: Mutationem, players enter a vibrant, neon-drenched cyberpunk world. This action RPG combines quick 2D battles with the freedom to explore a fully realized 3D city. You play as Ann, a capable fighter who uncovers mysteries and fights against powerful corporations in a futuristic setting. With RPG-style character progression, a compelling sci-fi story, and beautiful pixel art, it’s a great game for fans of both cyberpunk and RPGs.

Cabernet

Cabernet is a captivating, story-focused RPG where your choices truly shape the narrative. You play as Liza, a newly turned vampire, in a richly detailed, historically inspired world filled with secrets and moral dilemmas. As you explore, you’ll constantly decide whether to embrace your vampiric powers or fight to maintain your humanity, leading to multiple different story paths and endings. With compelling dialogue, a branching storyline that encourages multiple playthroughs, and deep role-playing elements, Cabernet delivers a strong vampire RPG experience presented as a visual novel.

I actually finished playing Cabernet entirely on the Steam Deck, and it ran flawlessly, even though Steam lists it as only “playable.” I think the Steam Deck is actually the ideal way to experience this visual novel.

Ereban Shadow Legacy

In Ereban Shadow Legacy, you play as Ayana, the sole survivor of her people, in a quick-paced game that combines stealth and platforming. You’ll need to learn how to use shadow powers to sneak past enemies, overcome challenging levels, and defeat a powerful, evil company. The game offers a thrilling and intense experience thanks to its focus on stealth and exciting action.
