Pokemon TCG Pocket has Surpassed $120 Million in Earnings, Report Claims

As someone who has been a dedicated Pokémon fan since the days of Gameboy and trading cards, I must say, the success of Pokemon TCG Pocket is nothing short of astounding! With my old collection gathering dust in the attic, it’s heartening to see this digital evolution reaching new heights. The numbers speak for themselves – over $120 million in just three weeks! It’s enough to make a Trainer feel like they’ve caught ’em all… and then some!

According to recent updates, the Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket managed to generate more than 120.8 million dollars from October 30th to November 17th, 2024.

Based on figures from AppMagic (as reported by PocketGamer), the Pokemon TCG Pocket app surpassed $100 million in total earnings by November 15 and climbed to over $120 million by November 17. Since its launch, the game has been averaging more than $6.4 million in daily revenue from players, with November 17 being its highest grossing day at approximately $8.2 million.

During its initial week, the Pokémon TCG Pocket game brought in approximately $35.8 million. The following week saw an increase in earnings to around $48.5 million, and by the third week, it had garnered $37.2 million with a bit of time left before closing out.

As a dedicated fan, I’m proud to share that we, the enthusiasts from Japan, are leading the way in regional spending, contributing an impressive 42% of the global expenditure, which totals a staggering $50.6 million. Trailing closely behind us is the fanbase from the United States, making up 28% of the global spending with a spend of $33.6 million.

As a gamer, I’ve gotta say, the new Pokémon TCG Pocket game has made a jaw-dropping entrance! It smashed its way past 30 million downloads within just the first nine days, and raked in over $12 million in revenue within the initial four. This title is giving Pokemon GO’s first-month earnings a run for their money and aiming to become the franchise’s biggest mobile launch yet! It’s a game-changer, folks!
