Farming Simulator 25, released just a week back, has already achieved the milestone of selling two million units, according to Giants Software’s announcement.
In other words, it has surpassed Farming Simulator 22’s initial weekly sales of 1.5 million units by a substantial 30%, indicating its significant success. This impressive sale figure not only gives us plenty of insights from the team but also provides us with the launch trailer for those who haven’t seen it yet.
According to Giants, the game performed exceptionally well on its release day, surpassing other new releases in Steam’s “Top Sellers” chart. At peak times, over 125,000 players were farming virtually, some solo and others cooperatively through multiplayer. This number rose to 135,000 during the first weekend. It’s important to note that this doesn’t account for players who weren’t playing simultaneously or those using other platforms.
During the launch of Farming Simulator 22, Boris Stefan, the Head of Publishing at GIANTS Software, expressed his excitement over the strong connection with our dedicated, enthusiastic, and unique fan base.
Stefan went on: “Farming Simulator 25 represents our most triumphant debut so far, demonstrating that our relationship with the community has become stronger than ever. Their passion and backing are not only essential to our achievements, but they fuel our determination to offer an unmatched and fulfilling farming adventure. The launch was merely the beginning for FS25.
Furthermore, the statement within the press release mentions that: “GIANTS Software has sold over 40 million copies globally, not just of the current game, but encompassing other main titles in the Farming Simulator series as well.

Farming Simulator 25 will continue to grow and enhance thanks to regular updates from GIANTS Software, offering free content additions, patches, and more. These updates will also include new packs and expansions for the game, which is suitable for all ages. The Year 1 Season Pass, currently available, grants access to three official packs and one significant expansion, as soon as each piece of content is made available to pass owners.
