The third stage of the ARC Raiders Expedition Project is now live! Players may be having trouble collecting the materials needed to reset their characters and unlock valuable, lasting rewards – including a unique costume that changes with each expedition. Whether you’re an experienced player starting your third reset or new to the game, this guide will help. We’ll cover all the materials required for each step of the expedition, with detailed instructions on how to find everything you need for the Third Expedition in ARC Raiders.
All Expedition 3 Steps in ARC Raiders
Here’s a guide to completing all three steps of Expedition 3, including what materials you’ll need and the quickest ways to find them. If you’re pressed for time before the expedition starts, follow these instructions for a smooth completion.
You have until April 28, 2026, to finish everything needed for the current expedition. We’re also offering a ‘Pity-System’ to help those who missed Skill points in previous expeditions. Make sure to maximize your Stash and collect lots of Raider coins – you can earn up to 10 extra Skill points this time around! If you complete this third expedition, you’ll have a total of 15 bonus Skill points available right from the start of the game.
Step 1 – Foundation
Getting most of the materials for the first step of Expedition 3 in ARC Raiders is pretty straightforward. You can collect a good amount of ARC Alloy by defeating probes or weaker ARC enemies, which is enough for the first and third parts of the step. You can find Chemicals throughout the maps, and consistently returning to Scrappy after each match will also build up a nice supply of them in your storage.
| Materials | Where to find |
|---|---|
| Metal Parts (150) | Scrappy, Recycling ARC Alloy |
| Chemicals (100) | Scrappy, Recycling Crude Explosives |
| ARC Alloy (80) | All ARC Enemies or Probes/Couriers |
| Steel Spring (15) | Farm Around The Water Towers or Hydroponic Dome Complex in Dam Battlegrounds |
You can easily find Steel Springs while exploring. Look around Red Toolboxes or near lockers in Industrial areas. Good places to check include the Hydroponic Dome Complex and Water Towers in Dam Battlegrounds, as they often have a lot of them.
Step 2 – Core System
You can get Durable Cloth more quickly by refining Fabric in the Workshop. To get Wires faster, either gather them from the Power Generation Complex or recycle Power Cables found in computers, panels, and machines there.
| Materials | Where to find |
|---|---|
| Durable Cloth (30) | Claim Fabric from Scrappy, then Create Durable Cloth with the Refiner |
| Wires (25) | Farm Power Cables in the Power Generation Complex in Dam Battlegrounds, Recycle |
| Electrical Components (20) | Can be fabricated in the Refiner with Rubber Parts and Metal Parts |
| Industrial Charger (3) | Farm Around the Power Generation Complex or Hydroponic Dome Complex in the Dam Battlegrounds |
I’ve found that you can snag electrical components and wires in a lot of places, but honestly, it’s usually quicker to just refine them yourself in the workshop. As for industrial chargers, the Hydroponic Dome is the place to be – check those breakable containers and especially the red lockers. They seem to be everywhere in there!
Step 3 – Framework
You can usually find Coffee Pots in homes and other buildings, but a reliable spot is on the desk at the Field Depot outside the Hospital in Buried City. Batteries are quickest to collect from the Assembly line in Stella Montis, and also in the hallways connecting the Medical Bay to the Seed Vault. Be careful though – this area is popular with players who enjoy player-versus-player combat.
| Materials | Where to find |
|---|---|
| Coffee Pot (1) | Find these on Ruby Residence in Dam Battlegrounds |
| Battery (25) | Farm them in Stella Montis, Assembly Line |
| Firefly Burners (5) | Found by defeating Fireflies – Players need to shoot the canister in the middle of the body. |
| Exodus Modules (1) | Found all around Stella Montis |
While searching for batteries, players can also find Exodus Modules. These can be located inside the blue suitcases on the floor or by checking the tool carts around the Stella Montis area.
Firefly Burners are unique and challenging enemies you’ll only encounter outdoors. They’re heavily armored, making them tough to defeat, and the only way to take them down is with a precise shot to the yellow canister located between their belly and flamethrower. We recommend using a Hullcracker – it’s very effective against them.
Step 4 – Outfitting
If you’re looking for the Broken Guidance System on the Dam Battlegrounds, it’s usually found hidden inside containers at Industrial POIs. The Red Lockers inside the Hydroponic Dome Complex are the most likely places to find it, so check there first.
Players can also find rare Advanced Electrical Components by using the machinery in the Dome Complex, so it’s worth checking out if you’re lucky.
| Materials | Where to find |
|---|---|
| Broken Guidance System (1) | Farm them in the Red Lockers in Hydroponic Dome Complex, Dam Battlegrounds |
| Advanced Electrical Components (5) | Use the Refiner to create them, using Wires and Electrical Components |
| Breathtaking Snow Globes (3) | Found looting the Green Lockers in the Library, in Buried City (more chances during the Hurricane Map Condition) |
| Bombardier Cell (2) | Found by looting a defeated Bombardier. Use a Hullcracker or Trailblazer Grenades to beat it faster. |
To find the Breathtaking Snow Globes, head to the Library during either the Hurricane or Cold Snap weather conditions and search the green lockers. Then, go across the Parking Garage to the Space Travel building and loot the desks and green lockers there.
Next, find the top level of the Parking Garage. You’ll encounter a relatively simple Bombardier enemy there. A good strategy is to use Lure Grenades through the broken door of the Parking Garage elevator to draw it in, then finish it off with more grenades or a powerful Deadline weapon.
Step 5 – Load Stage
Once you’ve finished all your farming, the next step is donating valuable items to the Expedition Pod storage. This gives you a lot of flexibility, allowing you to use up most of your collected resources to fulfill the requirements for each category.
Only get rid of items you definitely won’t need before the expedition starts on April 28, 2026. Focus on throwing away broken weapons or ones that don’t have important upgrades, as you can always make new ones with materials you have.
| Materials | Where to find |
|---|---|
| 200000 Coin worth of Combat Items | Donate weapons, smoke grenades, and most ammo. It is faster to farm POIs with Keys and get Combat Items from there. |
| 100000 Coin worth of Survival Items | Shields, Healing Items, Bandages. Really easy to farm. Players can farm Great Mullein and Fabric, and craft lots of Herbal Bandages to fill up the requirements. |
| 150000 Coin worth of Provisions | Donate all the Seeds from Scrappy. Then go to Dam Battlegrounds and farm the Pale Apartments or Ruby Residence to get lots of ‘Treasure’ (Rosary, Music Boxes, Film Reels). |
| 300000 Coin worth of Materials | The easiest and fastest way is to donate the most useless materials. But players can also try farming Bastion Cells or Bombardier Cells to fill this up really fast. |
Gathering provisions is the most challenging part of prepping. You can get a good amount – around 200 to 250 Seeds per run – by raiding the Seed Vault on Stella Montis, which equals about 25,000 worth of provisions. Alternatively, you can find valuables to loot in residential areas of Dam Battlegrounds. The choice is yours!
Survival items are the simplest to collect. They require a small amount of in-game currency, and when the map conditions are right, you can quickly find plenty by searching medical bags. Once you’ve gathered enough, ARC Raiders players can begin their Third Expedition.
