Where to Find the Deceiver’s Fedora (Duo Cheater’s Hat) in Crimson Desert

In Crimson Desert, the Deceiver’s Fedora is a special hat you can buy from a Mineral Dealer in Tashkalp. But before you can find this vendor, you’ll need to defeat an arena boss. Then, you’ll have to build up 100 Trust with the vendor before the hat is available for purchase. Luckily, both of these requirements are fairly easy to achieve in Crimson Desert. Once you’ve done both, you’ll significantly improve your chances of winning all the gambling minigames!

Crimson Desert Deceiver’s Fedora Location

To get the Deceiver’s Fedora, head to the Mineral Shop on the map. However, you’ll need to defeat Muskan, the champion of the fighting pit, first. If you win, you’ll also receive the Combat God’s Plate Gloves as a reward.

Having trouble with the Muskan battle? Remember to use Force Palm to quickly knock him off balance. This will help you stop his attacks and create openings to continue your own combos.

Once you’ve defeated Muskan, go to the Mineral Shop. Then, give the shopkeeper Copper Pouches repeatedly until you’ve completely filled his Trust meter. If you’re short on pouches, you can find them by looting fallen enemies or pickpocketing other characters. Remember, you’ll need a Mask to pickpocket or commit other crimes, so have one equipped beforehand.

You can buy the Deceiver’s Fedora from the Mineral merchant at 100 Trust for 97 Silver. If you’re short on funds, try visiting Demeniss Wildlife Park. Look for wealthy visitors – you might find someone carrying a Gold Bar. If you do, discreetly pickpocket it, then exchange the Gold Bar for 500 Silver at any bank. With the money, return to Tashkalp and purchase the hat.

How to Use Deceiver’s Fedora in Crimson Desert

To cheat at Duo in Crimson Desert using the Deceiver’s Fedora, all you need to do is equip the hat and start a game. After the cards are dealt, a new button will appear at the bottom-right of your screen labeled ‘Steal a Look at Hand’. Clicking this button will let you see what cards your opponents are holding.

Now that you understand the situation, you can decide what to do next. If you’re confident you have a strong hand, try to encourage your opponents to bet more by gradually increasing your own bet. Make sure you do this before your turn ends, so they think you’re unsure of your cards.

For serious Seotda players, head to Beighen in Pailune. It costs 150 Silver to play, but we’ve found you can win more Silver there than in Hernand. Just be aware that others might be cheating too, so watch out for them!

Keep in mind that the number of people playing can vary. If there aren’t enough players right now, you might want to try again tomorrow to see if more join.
