Unlike these characters who were clearly shown on the roadmap, Sally was only hinted at through an image. Fans quickly recognized that the red wig and patchwork dress of a mannequin in the “Late 2024” image matched Sally’s description. She will be introduced to Disney Dreamlight Valley with the Sew Delightful Update, set for release on December 4.

It appears that Disney Dreamlight Valley is following in the style set by the Sally promotional image by hinting at upcoming free character additions for 2025 rather than announcing them directly. It’s not surprising that Jasmine and Aladdin are joining the main game of Disney Dreamlight Valley, given that their adversary, the treacherous vizier Jafar, was previously presented in the A Rift in Time DLC. This development brings up intriguing questions about how these characters might interact with each other in the game, particularly considering their villain.

In Disney Dreamlight Valley, it’s not uncommon to see additional characters being added after a film or franchise has already been represented. For example, Timon and Pumbaa were included in the base game, although Simba, Scar, and Nala had been part of the game for months prior. Similarly, Flynn Rider was introduced in The Unwritten Realms DLC following Rapunzel’s appearance in the A Rift in Time Expansion Pass.

It’s quite clear that the wide, toothy smile is reminiscent of the Cheshire Cat from “Alice in Wonderland.” Given that the cat stands out as the most recognizable character in this story, it wouldn’t be unexpected for him to be included as a new character in the Spring 2025 update. While it’s not unusual to have a single character addition, fans might anticipate additional gameplay elements along with the Cheshire Cat.

It’s plausible that the game Disney Dreamlight Valley might include Wonderland as a new area or realm. This assumption arises from the fact that the original quote refers to a “land of wonder”, which could imply the introduction of a new location. If not a biome, it might be a themed area based on Alice in Wonderland.

The Summer 2025 image teases the enigmatic cave in all its glory and invites players to unravel an ancient secret and find out who’s hidden within Skull Rock.

Interested spectators can first encounter Skull Rock in the classic story of Peter Pan. Given that someone is already residing within the rock, it’s plausible that the upcoming free character addition in Summer 2025 could hail from this film. Among various characters from Peter Pan who could join Disney Dreamlight Valley, some stand out particularly.

Incorporating Captain Hook as a villain in our game would be fantastic. Yet, Maleficent is set to join Disney Dreamlight Valley concurrently. To keep things interesting, introducing Peter Pan or Tinkerbell could prove beneficial. The anticipation for Tinkerbell’s inclusion in Disney Dreamlight Valley has been palpable, given her absence is quite surprising considering she was a beloved figurehead of Disney Corporation. Among all the potential characters, Tinkerbell seems the most likely to be added next.

Although the specific characters for each teaser image in the 2025 free content roadmap have not been disclosed yet, the movies being incorporated into Disney Dreamlight Valley are mostly finalized.
