Similar to the game R.E.P.O., Lethal Company is enjoyable on your own, but it’s much more fun playing with friends, especially with mods. Some mods even let up to 16 players team up, and others introduce funny and unexpected aliens – like Mimics that can disguise themselves as doors!

I’ve noticed a lot of games these days are all about super realistic graphics and really complicated ways to play, but honestly, a game doesn’t need all that to be enjoyable. Take Five Nights at Freddy’s, for example. It started with pretty simple stuff, but it somehow became this huge multimedia franchise! It just proves you can do a lot with a little.

The original Five Nights at Freddy’s, released in 2014, is a straightforward but scary game where you play a security guard working the night shift at a family pizzeria similar to Chuck E. Cheese. Your job is to survive five nights while avoiding the restaurant’s haunted, animatronic characters.

Players are stuck inside the pizzeria’s security office and must use the camera system to track the animatronics. They can briefly turn on lights and close doors to protect themselves, but these actions drain the office’s limited power supply. The goal is to survive until 6 a.m.

Five Nights at Freddy’s taps into our natural fear of creepy robots and uses exciting jump scares to create a simple, but incredibly addictive game that people still enjoy playing after more than a decade.

5. Left 4 Dead 2

Over the game’s almost ten years, many new killers have been added, including popular characters from other franchises like the Xenomorph from Alien and Pyramid Head from Silent Hill.

Playing as a survivor is still really enjoyable. You can personalize your character with different perks to become better at avoiding killers or to support your teammates. Success usually depends on survivors working together to escape.

Look, as a gamer, I’ve played a lot of horror games, and for me, nothing beats the Resident Evil series. It’s easily the most successful horror franchise ever. But if I had to pick just one game that stands above the rest, it’s Resident Evil 4. Seriously, it came out in 2005 and it’s still amazing – it grabbed me right from the beginning and never let go. It’s just pure fun from start to finish.

Resident Evil 4 is a scary survival horror game played from a third-person perspective. Players take on the role of Leon Kennedy, a government agent, who is sent to Spain to save the president’s daughter, Ashley Graham.

In this installment, Kennedy encounters his most dangerous challenges yet, fighting off villagers transformed by the mutating Las Plagas parasite, colossal Gigantes creatures, and fanatical members of the Los Illuminados cult.
