As someone who has spent countless hours immersed in the magical world of Disney Dreamlight Valley, I must say that the Mythopia biome and its enigmatic resident Hades have truly captured my heart. The quest for Mythic Restoration is an adventure that any aspiring hero would be thrilled to embark on!
In the early stages of “Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Storybook Vale“, you’ll find yourself presented with the option to choose which biome you want to unveil next. If you opt for Mythopia first, you’ll receive a mission that ultimately leads to Hades being introduced. Upon finishing this quest, Hades will immediately become a villager within the game, and you won’t have to wait until Friendship Level 2 to start his friendship questline.
In the initial adventure known as “Mythic Restoration”, Hades is enraged by the disorder in Mythopia. Instead of personally tidying up and decorating, he assigns this task to you.
Gather Resources For Hades
In my gaming adventure, I’ve stumbled upon an amazing realm called Mythopia for the initial leg of this quest. It seems like fate has bestowed upon me a chance to collect all the essential items needed right here! Here’s what I need to accumulate:
- Three Crimson Eternal Poppies
- Five Posidonia plants
- 10 Gravel
In the expanses of Elysian Fields and Mount Olympus, you’ll find eternal poppies of a crimson hue. You can collect gravel by digging holes at various locations such as the Elysian Fields, Mount Olympus, the Shadows of the Statue, or the Inferno Plains. Posidonia is similar to seaweed in Dreamlight Valley or plastic on Eternity Isle within Mythopia. To obtain Posidonia, avoid fishing from the usual ripples for fish, instead try casting your line elsewhere.
To swiftly gather Posidonia, think about inviting a villager with the fishing role as their companion instead.
Return to Hades
Once you’ve gathered all necessary items, chat with Hades. He’ll enhance your Royal Pickaxe for you. This enhancement enables you to demolish fragments of Marble scattered throughout Mythopia. In addition to eliminating the 10 pieces of Marble, a new task will be assigned: capturing five Demon Snippets using the upgraded royal tool.
The first time you chase a Demon Snippet, it vanishes by teleporting. Follow the trail it leaves behind, then try again with the tool. Your second attempt will likely succeed if you’re at the right distance. Once you’ve tidied up the area, seek out Hades and chat with him once more.
Craft Some Statues
After cleaning out Mythopia, the space seems rather vacant. Hades views this as a chance to personalize the location by creating statues of himself. To fashion the statues of Hades, you’ll need to collect four pieces of Marble, four Gold Nuggets, and four Magma. You can find Marble while mining in Mythopia itself. Gold Nuggets can be discovered not only when mining in Mythopia but also during mining activities in the Sunlit Plateau, Frosted Heights, and the Forgotten Lands.
Among these items, the most elusive one is Magma. Although it can be mined across all regions in Mythopia, its spawn rate is extremely low. Consequently, this process might take some time, despite requiring only four pieces of Magma. Once you’ve collected all necessary materials, you will have more than enough to craft four statues.
Once crafted, feel free to position these statues anywhere within the boundaries of Mythopia at your convenience. However, take care not to place any statues too near the border with another biome, as recognition won’t be granted and you may have to relocate those specific statues. Once you are content with their arrangement, engage in conversation with Hades.
Go Incognito
Hades is curious about the true feelings of the villagers since he believes they might be overly polite. To gather information, he asks you to secretly eavesdrop at the Library of Lore. At this point in the quest, a new tab will appear under your wardrobe, which will display the suitable outfits for this mission. The outfit’s color or style doesn’t matter as long as it includes specific elements defined by the quest.
- Rustic Clothing
- Green Clothing
- Brown Clothing
In my own words as a fan, I’d say: Certain garments can satisfy all three requirements. For instance, donning the Comfy Blue-Green Sweater is sufficient to advance this quest. Once you’ve finalized your ensemble, make your way to the grand Library of Lore’s main chamber, where the Lorekeeper resides. As time goes by, groups of villagers will arrive, and two of them will engage in a conversation about the statues.
Once you’ve listened to both discussions, chat with the Lorekeeper. The book will disclose the location of the Lightning Machine and will also share a crucial detail: you’ll need five pieces of Lightning Spice to operate it. Typically, you can find Lightning Spice in Mythopia, and it’s often plentiful.
After obtaining the Lightning Spice, make your way to the East Wing of the Lore Library. You’ll find the device in a cozy side room near the globe. Activate it, then add five pieces of Lightning Spice. Have a final chat with Hades to wrap up this quest.
