Starfield Achievements for Terran Armada Tease Unannounced Features

The achievements for Starfield’s Terran Armada have been released, and they suggest some new features that haven’t been revealed yet. Bethesda accidentally published the list early, before the new Starfield DLC is officially available.

Bethesda officially announced the Starfield Terran Armada DLC on March 17th. It will launch on April 7th, along with a major free update called the Free Lanes patch – the biggest one released for the game so far. Bethesda recently showed off both the DLC and update in a three-minute trailer and detailed article. However, it seems that preview didn’t reveal everything, particularly regarding a second, upcoming premium expansion.

Starfield’s Terran Armada Achievement List Hints at Unannounced Features and More

The complete list of achievements for the Terran Armada DLC became available on Steam on April 3rd, four days before the DLC actually launched. This list hints at extra features and content in the expansion that Bethesda didn’t reveal in their previews from March 2026—perhaps accidentally. For example, the ‘Master of Magnetism’ achievement points to a brand-new location in Starfield called New Babylon, where players will have to destroy a robot for someone named Ivica or a group associated with them.

Recently revealed details suggest that Delta, the new robot companion coming with the Terran Armada update for Starfield, will be customizable with upgrades. Bethesda has even added an achievement for unlocking all of them, hinting at a substantial upgrade system. Additionally, a trophy called “This for That” indicates players will be able to give control of outposts to different factions with the update. It’s currently unknown if handing over an outpost is permanent or if players will still receive benefits from it afterward, but this suggests a new and interesting gameplay mechanic.

Starfield Terran Armada Achievements Hinting at Unannounced Gameplay or Content Changes

Achievement Gameplay Implication
Master of Magnetism A new location called New Babylon.
Overclocked Upgrades for Delta, the new robot companion.
This for That Handing over outposts to factions.

Considering Bethesda’s past games and the initial achievement list for Starfield, the upcoming Terran Armada expansion seems likely to include three to four significant questlines. The expansion will add a total of 20 new achievements, boosting the game’s overall achievement count by about 32%. To put that in perspective, the Shattered Space DLC added 12 achievements when it launched last September. While this doesn’t automatically mean Terran Armada will have more content than Shattered Space, early previews from Bethesda suggest it might.

Terran Armada and Free Lanes will be released on April 7th, the same day the PlayStation 5 version of Starfield becomes available. The PlayStation port has had a complicated development history: it was initially planned, then cancelled after Microsoft bought Bethesda’s parent company in 2021, and finally approved again as Microsoft started releasing games on multiple platforms in early 2024.
