The Downloadable Content (DLC) is arriving on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms, including Steam, Epic Games Store, and Windows. It includes the “Salzwiesen Park,” the “German Shorthaired Pointer,” and the “Hunters’ Choice: Bolt-Action Rifle Pack.” Each can be purchased individually. Additionally, a “Winter Hunting Bundle” priced at $15.99 will also be offered, but this offer is only valid until January 31st, 2025.

The free upgrade is scheduled for release on December 3rd, which includes the introduction of “Hunter Challenges”, along with the appearance of two fresh “Great Ones”, among other features.

Here’s the full details, from the press release:

Embark on a trip to Schleswig-Holstein, nestled along the border between northern Germany and Denmark, and immerse yourself in the breathtaking natural scenery that may just be one of the top waterfowl hunting destinations globally. With the “Salzwiesen Park” DLC, you’ll get a chance to discover a rich salt marsh ecosystem filled with 15 diverse species, among them two new additions – the plump Gadwall and striking Ferruginous Duck. Additionally, you’ll encounter not one but two impressive “Great Ones!” (These Great Ones will also be introduced in other reserves through a free update.) The DLC introduces the Clay Shooting Range, where you can challenge your aiming abilities, compete with friends, and the new GOPI 10G GRAND Shotgun. The “Salzwiesen Park” DLC is set to release on December 3 for $6.99.

In the exciting update to “TheHunter: Call of the Wild,” the “German Shorthaired Pointer” DLC brings a third breed of dog, adding to your hunting team! Upon your command, this new canine companion will guide you towards your chosen prey, aiding in quicker tracking of animals. If you already own a Bloodhound or Labrador Retriever, get ready for an exciting bonus: a free update on Dec. 3 for all dog owners allows you to customize your perfect hunting dog by blending the skills of two breeds! For instance, by merging the abilities of a Pointer and a Retriever, you can train your dog to expertly flush out birds and promptly retrieve them after your shot.
