They serve as a lifeline in this desolate world, providing vital information, intriguing lore, and occasionally, hidden treasures.
In the immersion of STALKER 2’s The Zone, travelers will encounter numerous Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) throughout their journey. These electronic gadgets are essential tools for Stalkers to navigate and monitor the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, proving useful in various aspects. While you consistently use your own PDA, what should be done with the PDAs found in STALKER 2?
In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to manage your PDA collection effectively so that you don’t accumulate more than a hundred of them, cluttering your inventory.
What Are PDAs For in STALKER 2?
PDAs are littered all over The Zone, and almost always, they serve a purpose.
More often than not, these items will carry a brief backstory or depict a conversation between characters. On some occasions, they’ll guide you to a cache or concealed object, and that’s quite intriguing.
In STALKER 2, many Portable Digital Assistants (PDA) hold crucial data for mission progression, which you frequently discover near abandoned bodies or misplaced gear in the untamed wilderness.
What To Do With PDAs in STALKER 2
Now that you’ve found a bunch of PDAs, what do you do with them?
You sell them, of course.
Once you’re done using a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), you can consider selling it to a dealer, although typically, these devices don’t fetch a high price. However, be mindful that some PDAs might be connected to quests, and these will display an orange icon in the top-left corner of their image within your inventory. Usually, you’ll only receive a few Coupons for each PDA sold, but remember, it’s essentially free money.
In STALKER 2, if you happen upon a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), don’t pass it by! Take a moment to read or listen to its contents. At minimum, you’ll gain some interesting insights about the game, but in the best-case scenario, you might be led to a hidden cache nearby.
