As a seasoned gamer with countless hours under my belt, I must say that the journey through Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Storybook Vale has been nothing short of enchanting. The intricate design and attention to detail in each biome are truly commendable. Today, I found myself exploring the Statue’s Shadow, a new area in Mythopia, and let me tell you, it was as mysterious as it sounds!
In contrast to Disney Dreamlight Valley, the expansions are divided into smaller biomes that must be gradually unlocked. For instance, the larger areas such as Mythopia and Everafter within Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Storybook Vale, consist of four distinct smaller biomes, each with its own set of story missions to complete. To give an example, in Mythopia you need to finish each trial to reopen the path for Hades’ return to Mount Olympus. Typically, there will be some sort of challenge preventing you from reaching the next trial, and in the case of The Marble Colossus, this challenge takes the form of a bridge that requires repairs.
Explore the Statue’s Shadow
After utilizing 5,000 Storybook Magic, you’ll gain unrestricted access to a specific region within Mythopia. As you’re required to traverse this biome regardless, make your way to the Wishing Well for repairs. To advance in this quest, descend the stairs toward the massive Hades statue. Upon interacting with the mechanism, you’ll find it damaged and incapable of extending the bridge. Due to this issue, inform Hades about the problem.
How to Fix the Bridge
To reestablish control over the bridge, you’ll need to construct the “Emotion Vessel” or “Feeling Jar”, a device that helps regain control. Here’s what you’ll require for its construction:
- 10 Marble
- Four Gold Ingots
- Four Squid
In this fantastical realm of Mythopia, I’ve discovered that marble can be extracted from rocks scattered across the Elysian Fields, the Fiery Plains, the Statue’s Shadow, and the majestic Mount Olympus. If you’ve successfully completed the quest for Mythic Restoration, you too can shatter these marble fragments with your mighty Royal Pickaxe!
If you’ve gathered all the necessary materials, feel free to move on to the following step: creating the two vases. Return to the bridge, then position these vases on the pillars left and right of the control panel. After setting them up, engage with the controls, which will cause the bridge to expand, enabling you to pass over. Employ your Royal Net to activate the portal that takes you to the third challenge in Mythopia. With this, the Marble Colossus quest is completed, and a new one called “Losing your Marbles” starts.
