Trap Door Painting Puzzle Solution In Crime Scene Cleaner (Circle of Friends)

Okay, so in Crime Scene Cleaner, you’re thrown into this creepy little village as Kovalsky, and let me tell you, the Holden Mansion is a mess. You’ll be scrubbing a lot more than just floors here. Beyond the grim cleanup, there’s a real mystery brewing, and a hidden trap door near the dining room is key. I’ve figured out how to crack the painting puzzle to open it in Act 2 – it’s a bit tricky, but essential to progressing the story.

How To Open The Trap Door In Circle Of Friends (Crime Scene Cleaner Act 2)

Once you find the trap door, you’ll see three paintings on each wall around it. If you look closely and touch a painting, it will transform into a different version of itself.

There are three paintings: one of a skull and a partially filled goblet, one of a person named Holden, and another showing a chair by a window. The task is to identify the original version of each painting.

Here’s a guide to solving the puzzle and revealing the hidden trap door in Crime Scene Cleaner. You’ll need to change the paintings to the correct versions.

  • Left Painting: The goblet should be complete with red cloth on the table.
  • Center Painting: Holden wearing glasses.
  • Right Painting: Change it until the winter scenery changes to a green one.

The trap door will open and lead to a secret room below.

Besides the money lying around, you’ll find a CD called Red Temple by EON Society on one of the red couches to the right. Check the middle couch for the event schedule, and then open the chest behind it to collect a large sum of money.

How To Reach Holden’s Mansion (Crime Scene Cleaner Act 2)

Getting to Holden’s Mansion to solve the puzzle can be confusing, but here’s a simple route. From the Town Square, head to the building directly across from the entrance, going through the garage. You’ll need to go around back and break some wooden planks to crawl inside. Once you’re in, go up the stairs and continue past the windows into the Corridor.

Turn left and walk straight until you see a red wall close to the kitchen. Go through the doorway and you’ll be at Holden’s Manor, near the dining room. Then, turn left into the small hallway beside the stairs. The trap door is in a small room at the end of that hallway.
