Embark Studios has pushed back the release of the next update for ARC Raiders by one day. Patch 1.23.0, which includes bug fixes and improvements, will now be available on April 8th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. While larger content updates for the popular extraction shooter typically arrive monthly, Embark is committed to providing regular weekly support with smaller patches.
Following a hugely successful launch and winning Best Multiplayer at the 2025 Game Awards, Embark Studios has committed to supporting ARC Raiders with updates for the next decade. They started with a significant update in late 2025, adding the Stella Montis map – focused on player-versus-player combat – and a new powerful enemy called the Matriarch. Embark continued the momentum in early 2026, planning four major content drops between January and April.
ARC Raiders’ Next Update Will Release April 8
Embark Studios had planned a small update for ARC Raiders on April 7th, following the larger Flashpoint update on March 31st. These smaller updates are typically released on Tuesdays. However, the team announced on Discord that the patch has been delayed. Patch 1.23.0 will now be available on Wednesday, April 8th, at 2 AM Pacific Time, 5 AM Eastern Time, and 10 AM British Summer Time, for players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
While Embark hasn’t detailed all the changes in the upcoming 1.23.0 patch for ARC Raiders, they’ve confirmed it will include the new Vanguard Set and several bug fixes. It doesn’t seem like the update will introduce major changes to gameplay, weapons, or add substantial new content. However, players can use their Raider Tokens to buy a new cosmetic bundle when the update releases this week.
If you’re looking forward to new content in ARC Raiders, the next major update, Riven Tides, is just a few weeks away. The recent Flashpoint update introduced a challenging new map condition called ‘Close Scrutiny,’ along with two new weapons and a frightening new ARC enemy. However, Riven Tides promises to be even bigger, with plans to add a completely new map and another large ARC enemy, likely comparable in size and threat to the Queen and Matriarch. While a specific release date hasn’t been announced, it’s currently expected to launch on April 28th.

The April 8th update for ARC Raiders won’t add any new features, but players are eager for bug fixes. Many are asking the developers at Embark to fix a frustrating issue that’s causing players to lose progress. After the recent Flashpoint update, players found that they can’t remove a Tick enemy if it attacks while they’re carrying a Battery or Field Crate. This is a rare bug, but it’s already led to players losing their weapons and equipment.
