The Roots of Truth Abyss puzzle in Crimson Desert can seem daunting, but it’s actually quite simple. You need to find hidden chips scattered around the floating island and place them into the correct slots. Because the island is covered in vegetation, finding the chips can be challenging. This guide will walk you through the exact steps to solve the puzzle.

Crimson Desert Roots of Truth Puzzle Solution

Begin at the Abyss Nexus. Head towards the waterfall and use a Charged Stab attack to break through it. After passing through, continue along the main path and climb all the way to the top. You’ll find a laser fence and a doorway just across a small gap. Go to that doorway to start the first section of platforming challenges.

Through the doorway, you’ll notice moving lasers guarding some round grates. Jump to grab the lowest grate, hold the Resist button, and use Force Palm to flip it, which will carry you to the other side. Then, climb the outside wall to reach the highest grate and flip that one over to get to the first chip.

First, use Axiom Force to capture the floating Abyss chip and carefully insert it into a ceiling slit. Rotate the chip until it fits perfectly, then push it in. After that, go back outside and head upstairs. You’ll see another slit in the floor with the Abyss chip inside. Take the chip again and firmly press it into the empty slot nearby.

Once you’ve placed the first chip, turn to face the large opening with the waterfall, and then look to your left. You’ll see a tree near the island’s edge. Fly towards the tree trunk and face the wall on your right. You’ll find a narrow, horizontal opening that leads to a room with the second Abyss chip. Get close to the opening and use Axiom Force to carefully remove the chip. Then, push it upwards into the slot located above you.

After inserting the second chip into its slot (located next to the area with the spinning water wheels), a large button will appear above it. This button activates the Roots of Truth Abyss. Simply climb to the button and press it using Force Palm. This completes the Roots of Truth Abyss section in Crimson Desert, and will take you to the Precipice of Truth if you continue.

Just a heads-up: after you finish the Precipice of Truth, the next island, the Abyss, won’t be accessible until you’ve progressed further in the game’s story. If you follow the Skybridge from the Precipice of Truth, you’ll find a path that currently leads to a dead end. It seems you’ll need to complete the other ‘Truth’ islands first to unlock access.
