In Crimson Desert, you can craft the Kuku Lightning Spear at the Kilnden Workshop once you’ve finished the relevant quest in Chapter 4. Crafting it requires gathering various materials, including robot parts and a Lightning Spear itself. If you’re searching for a powerful weapon in Crimson Desert, the Kuku Lightning Spear is worth obtaining.
Crimson Desert Kuku Lightning Spear Recipe
To get the Kuku Lightning Spear recipe, you’ll first need to cleanse the Sanctum of Absolution in Crimson Desert. You unlock the ability to cleanse Sanctums by completing the Missing Seal quest in Chapter 5. This particular Sanctum belongs to the Witch of Wisdom and can be found in Hernand’s Witchwoods.
You’ll find the Sanctum of Absolution south of Hernand, close to where you battle the Reed Devil. To purify it, you need to defeat Antumbra’s Sword and then reactivate the main generator after eliminating all enemies. Completing this will automatically give you the blueprints for Kuku Spears at the Kilnden Workshop.
After that, go to the Sanctum of Temperance in Deleysia and purify it. Doing so will give you the recipe for the Kuku Lightning Spear.

Where to Get Lightning Spear in Crimson Desert
A bandit camp called Black Wall Bandit Camp, located just north of Pailune on the map, holds a Lightning Spear. You can find the spear on a weapon rack within the camp. Be careful though – it’s fragile and will break after only a few uses, so don’t rely on it in a fight.
You might also find Dusksong members in the Crimson Desert wielding Lightning Spears. To disarm them, block their attack with your shield, and then quickly press the Heavy Attack button to bash them with it.
Where to Get Batteries and Electrical Components
In Delesyia, you can find mechanical parts by defeating the small, two-legged robots that are common throughout the southeastern part of the country. Don’t forget to collect the Small Batteries they drop!
Large, two-legged robots in the area drop Electrical Components. Defeat them to collect the large blue batteries they leave behind – you’ll need to use Axiom Force to pick them up. Remember, you’ll also need a Kuku Pot (or any similar storage container) to seal and store these larger items.
The Kuku Lightning Spear naturally increases your attack and movement speed. It also has a Lightning Imbuement, meaning each hit deals extra lightning damage, just like other lightning-based weapons. This spear holds a maximum of 10 lightning charges, and it gains one charge back every two seconds. Because spears attack quickly, you’ll likely use all 10 charges rapidly. Thankfully, the Kuku Lightning Spear recharges quickly enough that you’ll still have a powerful weapon overall.
Unfortunately, the Kuku Lightning Spear does not have any Abyss Gear slots.
