In STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl, players are directed to look for the Bulba anomaly situated eastward from Zalissya base, as indicated on the map. Upon approaching the designated area, players will be drawn to a massive energy sphere hovering above the lake. This energy ball periodically sucks in nearby objects and also exerts an irresistible force towards it, potentially causing the player’s demise if they get too close.

In STALKER 2, here is a method for players to approach the Bulba anomaly without danger, ensuring they retrieve the enigmatic Weird Ball artifact securely.

  1. Once you reach the area, do not enter the lake until the Bulba has stopped pulling objects towards it.
  2. Quickly run and hide behind any of the objects on the lake before Bulba starts pulling in objects again. This could be the orange tanker, or a big rock.
  3. Once again, when Bulba starts to pull objects towards its center, it’ll be safe as long as you’re hiding.
  4. As soon as Bulba stops its pull, you should quickly dart towards the ambulance right under the anomaly and crouch behind it.
  5. When it’s safe, quickly grab the “Weird Ball” artifact under the Bulba anomaly. However, don’t run away just yet as the Bulba will pull you towards it.
  6. Exit the lake area similar to how you entered it, by hiding behind objects.

In STALKER 2, you’ll now be able to acquire a renowned artifact that decreases bullet damage received, especially when stationary. You may immediately equip it in one of your artifact slots, and its benefits will activate instantly. One of the most advantageous aspects of the Odd Ball artifact is that it doesn’t come with any radiation consequences, allowing players to utilize it without any adverse effects.
