The Steelheart Horseshoes are a collectible item in Crimson Desert. You can find them in a treasure chest hidden in a secret room beneath the bridge connecting Gorthak and Demeniss. Here’s a guide on how to obtain them.
Steelheart Horse Shoes Location in Crimson Desert
You can find the Steelheart Horse Shoes in Crimson Desert hidden behind a secret wall under the bridge east of the Gate of Peace in the Gorthak region. Gorthak is located southeast of Demeniss. Here’s a guide to help you get there.
- Fast travel to the Denn River Abyss Nexus in Demeniss.
- Head southeast towards the Gate of Peace, a large castle-like structure that is visible from a distance.
- Cross through the Gate of Peace to the other side, and you’ll emerge into Gorthak on a bridge with the musket-wielding NPCs fighting off swarms of flying robots.
- Jump off the bridge to the ground below.
- Open the treasure chest inside to find the Steelheart Horse Shoes.
Once you’ve touched down, look up and locate the false wall on the underside of the bridge. 
Latch onto the false wall and use Force Palm by pressing Q + Middle Mouse Button (KB/M), L2 + R3 (PS5), or LT + RSB (Xbox) to reach the hidden room.
The Pirate King Hat helps you find nearby treasure chests, so you’ll never accidentally walk past one without noticing!
After you get the Steelheart Horse Shoes, you can put them on your horse through the inventory screen. Just select your horse’s name at the top left to equip them. Keep in mind that these shoes are specifically for horses and won’t work on other types of mounts.
If you sell a horse in Crimson Desert that has equipment on it, everything equipped will be sold with the horse—including items like the Steelheart Horse Shoes. Be sure to remove any gear you want to keep before selling!

Steelheart Horseshoes boost your horse’s attack power by 5, making it a surprisingly effective combatant. While this doesn’t change most of the game, as you won’t often be fighting on your horse, it’s a big help for challenges that require you to use your mount in battle.
The biggest benefit of the Steelheart Horse Shoes is their special ability: they restore 4 Stamina to your horse every second. This means you can sprint for much longer without running out of stamina. When not moving, your horse’s stamina refills almost instantly, so you can quickly go from resting to full speed.
