Yoshihiro Togashi began creating the popular manga Hunter x Hunter in 1997. He announced on X (formerly Twitter) that he’s finished chapters 411 through 420, marking a significant step forward for the series.

He also shared that the next ten chapters have been submitted to Weekly Shonen Jump, the magazine where Hunter x Hunter is published. This is exciting news, meaning the manga’s return is very close and will happen when the magazine decides to start publishing it again weekly. Yoshihiro Togashi credits his wife, Naoko Takeuchi, with helping him achieve his success. Takeuchi is a hugely popular manga artist herself, best known as the creator of Sailor Moon. As a thank you for her support, Togashi created a special illustration showing his character Kurapika alongside Sailor Mars and Artemis, two well-known characters from Sailor Moon.

With Chrollo seeking out powerful treasures to boost his abilities and Hisoka hunting down the Spiders for revenge, the manga’s return promises even more intense action and developments.

Honestly, I’m really excited to see Kurapika take center stage again! He’s been the focus of this current story arc, but he was a bit sidelined in the last few episodes. A lot of us fans are hoping he gets more attention now, and the same goes for Leorio – he’s such a vital character and we want to see more of him too!
