If you’re looking for the glowing algae in Disney Dreamlight Valley, check the ground at Dazzle Beach. It looks like pink and blue seaweed, but its exact location changes for each player. If you’re having trouble finding it, try searching around Skull Rock or the two caves on the beach. Picking it up will start the ‘Whispers in the Wind’ quest.
Whispers In The Wind Quest In DDV – Disney Dreamlight Valley
Okay, so I found this weird glowing algae over on Dazzle Beach in DDV, and the game told me to go chat with Moana. Turns out, talking to her at her place unlocks the Mystery Island – it’s how the ‘Whispers in the Wind’ quest actually kicks off!
Once you reach there, find the Swirling Flower Petal Winds on top of the hill.
Once you listen to the winds for clues, you’ll receive a vision – a glowing orb – that reveals two locations on the island where you can dig.
Go down the hill and turn right – you’ll find a place to dig between three trees. Then, head to the left side of the hill. Look for a couple of rocks, and you’ll find another dig spot close to one of them.
Take the items you found back to the wind. Use them to solve the puzzle on Mystery Island by fitting the pieces together to complete the picture. You might need to turn some pieces around to make them fit.
When Moana learns about a whirlpool near Mystery Island, she proposes they use a boat to search for it.
How To Unlock Pocahontas In DDV – Disney Dreamlight Valley
Okay, so I used the paddle and headed east, but there’s this whirlpool I can’t actually get to. So, I went north instead, towards some wreckage, and managed to grab a bunch of floating planks. Pretty useful stuff!
After you’ve gathered all three planks, go back to the whirlpool and use them to build a platform. This will let you reach the fishing area. Once there, equip your fishing rod and catch the jewelry. Then, head back to the island and use the crafting station to repair the necklace.
Speak to the wind once more and entrust it with the necklace to bring Pocahontas into view. Once you’ve had a brief dialogue with her, settle her home somewhere within the valley to formally introduce the character.
