Do This To Make Crucible Challenges Much Easier In God of War Ragnarok

As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent traversing the digital realms of various games, I can confidently say that God of War Ragnarok has undoubtedly secured a special place in my gaming hall of fame. The seamless blend of immersive storytelling and exhilarating combat is something that few games manage to achieve. However, there are times when the action-packed thrill of battle takes center stage, and I find myself yearning for a no-holds-barred fight fest – enter Muspelheim!

God of War Ragnarok is one of those unique games that combines top-notch gameplay with an engaging plot. But every now and then, gamers might yearn for some unbridled chaos. Occasionally, the intense narrative can be overshadowed by the pure fun of fighting wave after wave of foes at your leisure.

Thankfully, action enthusiasts can indulge their desires for intense battles in God of War Ragnarok‘s combat arena. Yet, it’s important to be aware that this feature carries a significant disadvantage. The following guide aims to assist you in overcoming this challenge.

What Is Muspelheim in God of War Rangarok

As a gamer, once I’ve advanced deep enough in the campaign and gathered two Muspelheim Seeds, I can unlock this fiery, lava-filled domain. Just like the last game, Muspelheim presents Kratos with tough combat trials, whether you want to hone your skills, relax with some fighting, or farm for rare resources. No matter why you’re here, be prepared to invest several hours in this place.

What Is the Limitation in Muspelheim

Upon arriving at Muspelheim, I found myself facing a series of six Crucible trials scattered across three distinct battlegrounds, each identified by symbols reminiscent of F, N, and R. The initial half-dozen challenges were merely a taste of the thrilling experiences that awaited in this fiery realm.

After overcoming the initial hurdles, a giant sword emerges in the center stage, however, you won’t be able to engage in challenges there just yet. Instead, you’ll see two symbols imprinted on the ground, divided into four sets. Finishing tasks related to these symbol-matched arenas will grant access to a corresponding challenge in the central area.

As a dedicated enthusiast, I’ve found myself repeatedly tackling past obstacles solely to access fresh challenges, which can often feel tedious and may even dissuade completionists from thoroughly mastering this domain. Thankfully, there’s an alternative route that circumvents this prerequisite.

Easier Way to Unlock New Challenges in Muspelheim

Instead of repeating challenges within an arena, you can find a way to make the game think they’ve been completed. When the main sword appears in the arena, go to one of the earlier arenas and interact with the sword located there. Instead of picking a challenge, select the Warm Up option.

As soon as the training session starts, engage with the sword once more to leave the training mode. This action will signal the game to note that the arena’s symbol has been completed on the main arena map. Perform this process again in a different arena, and you’ll unlock a fresh challenge within the main arena without revisiting any earlier ones.

Once you open a fresh challenge within the main battlefield, make sure to finish it before proceeding to any other tasks. If you find yourself stuck, feel free to adjust the difficulty level to help you progress.
