As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I can say that the God of War saga has been an integral part of my gaming journey. The anticipation and speculation surrounding each new installment have always been palpable within the gaming community.
Christopher Judge recently clarified on his platform, previously known as Twitter, that he wasn’t hinting at any upcoming announcement regarding God of War.
The actor from God of War has been active on TikTok, sharing that the upcoming fortnight is brimming with announcements and exciting content. He concluded his post with the term “boy,” which has gained popularity in recent editions of God of War.
It so happens that Judge’s remark about upcoming announcements within the next fortnight aligns neatly with PlayStation’s 30th anniversary celebration. This has sparked speculation among fans that a God of War announcement may be imminent.
This year, there were whispers about a potential remaster of the God of War Trilogy. With hints from the creators and these whispers, many enthusiasts speculated that an announcement might happen at a supposed 30th-anniversary event.
However, Judge quickly denied the claims on X. “Absolutely not true! You can’t tease something you know nothing about. I will be making announcements in the near future, I can guarantee none of them will be about OUR beloved God of War. I am awaiting updates just like everyone else,” he said.
It’s still unclear if Judge faced issues with PlayStation due to his initial comments; some believe the tweet was merely designed to maintain the upcoming announcement’s secrecy.
