Stalker 2: Deaf Meadow Artifact Guide

Stalker 2: Deaf Meadow Artifact Guide

As a seasoned Stalker, I’ve traversed the forsaken landscapes of the Exclusion Zone more times than I can count, and let me tell you, finding Artifacts never gets old! The latest treasure to catch my eye is none other than the Stone Heart Artifact, hidden deep within Deaf Meadow.

To the northeast of the Zalissya base within Stalker 2’s Lesser Zone, there’s a notable location called “Deaf Meadow.” Upon approaching it, you’ll notice menacing Gravitational Anomalies forming. This means it’s high time to retrieve your anomaly Detector and use Bolts to discover the concealed Artifact hidden in the area.

Similar to other Artifacts in Stalker 2, you should activate the Detector and follow its signals until the artifact appears. Keep in mind that each player’s location for the artifact will vary, so your location won’t match mine exactly. Simply traverse the meadow while listening for the detector’s strongest beeps, and wait for the “pick-up button” to appear on your screen when it gets really loud to snatch the item.

As an ardent enthusiast of Stalker 2, I must admit that one aspect that can be quite bothersome when gathering Artifacts is the potential harm from those pesky anomalies. However, it’s these very anomalies that the Bolts are designed to protect us from – a fact I’m grateful for!

You can toss one into the field, and the anomaly will disappear for a few seconds, letting you quickly search for the Artifact until the anomaly returns. It can be tricky, so maybe come prepared with some healing items.

The Artifact that we found at Deaf Meadow is the Stone Heart Artifact. It’s not the best one out there, as it is common, and all it does is let you carry a couple more items in your pack in exchange for light Radiation damage.

Just as with other items in Stalker 2, it’s advisable to use these Artifacts only when you have another item equipped that offers radiation protection. Otherwise, using them on the field could result in continuous damage to your character.
