How to Get Tariv Cloth Set in Crimson Desert

I’m really excited about the Tariv Cloth Armor set in Crimson Desert! You can get it from the Tailor’s Shop in Tariv, which is just north of Demeniss. But here’s the thing – the shop owner, Elise, only sells the Gloves and Cloak at first. If you want the full set, including the Boots and Chest piece, you’ll need to build up her trust completely before she’ll offer them for sale. It takes some work, but it’s worth it!

You can also get the Tariv Cloth Armor set by learning the crafting recipe from the “Cloth Armors of the World, Vol 4” crafting book. This book is only available for purchase from a merchant at a Back Alley Shop in Odeck.

How to Get the Tariv Cloth Armor Set in Crimson Desert

To purchase the Tariv Cloth set in Crimson Desert, here’s what you need to do:

Head to the town of Tariv, directly north of Demeniss, west of the Denn River.

  1. Locate and enter the Tailor’s Shop in the middle of town that has a signboard of a pair of scissors hanging by the front door.
  2. Talk to Elise by selecting “Shop,” and choose the “Buy” option to see her stock.
  3. Purchase the Tariv Cloth Cloak and the Tariv Cloth Gloves from her.
  4. Exit the Buy menu.
  5. Talk to Elise again, but this time select the “Gift” option.

Gift Elise 20 Coin Pouches or 1 Gold Bar to increase her trust to 100.

  6. Open the Buy menu again, and you’ll be able to purchase the Tariv Cloth Attire and the Tariv Cloth Boots.

If you’re trying to get on Elise’s good side, giving her Flower Pots is a great way to boost her trust. There are ten of them you can snag around town – I usually find them on the outskirts – and you can actually buy one from her shop for just five coppers, it’s sitting right on the windowsill!

Tariv Cloth Set Price Requirement
Tariv Cloth Cloak 9.17 Silver
Tariv Cloth Gloves 3.76 Silver
Tariv Cloth Attire 15.18 Silver 100 Trust with Elise
Tariv Cloth Boots 3.27 Silver 100 Trust with Elise

You can get Coin Pouches by defeating enemies in the Crimson Desert. These unopened pouches can be given as gifts to characters, but you can’t give them money directly.

You can get Gold Bars in a few ways: buy them from the Bank with 500 Silver, steal them from wealthy characters, or make them yourself. To craft them, you’ll need either Silver Ore, Brimstone, and Mercury, or Gold Ore and a Golden Apple.

Once you’ve built a strong relationship with Elise, she’ll offer a Supply Contract that lets you buy goods from the Greymanes at the Howling Hill camp.

How to Craft the Tariv Cloth Armor Set Yourself in Crimson Desert

You can learn how to make the Tariv Cloth set in Crimson Desert by reading the crafting book ‘Cloth Armors of the World, Vol 4’. This book is available from Craig, a merchant in Odeck’s back alleys, but only after you’ve fully increased his trust level.

You’ll find Odeck in the top left corner of the map, just north of Silver Wolf Mountain and northwest of Pailune. Here’s how to get the recipe and make Tariv Cloth armor for yourself.

Fast travel to the Silver Wolf Mountain Abyss Nexus.

Head north to the location marked on the map to find the Back Alley Shop merchant Craig.

Gift Craig Diamonds or Coin Pouches to increase his trust to 100.

  1. Open the Buy menu and scroll down to find the Cloth Armors of the World, Vol 4 on sale for 63.00 Silver.
  2. Purchase the crafting book and learn its recipe.
  3. Go to any Smithy and select the Crafting menu.

  4. Tab over to the Cloth Armor section and you’ll find the Tariv Cloth Armor set pieces ready for crafting.

This volume of Cloth Armors of the World features recipes for the Tariv Cloth Attire, Gloves, and Boots. It also includes alternate designs for the Grey Wolf Cloth Gloves and a piece from the Grey Wolf Leather Armor set.

You can’t craft the Tariv Cloth Cloak using the crafting book Cloth Armors of the World, Vol 4. The only way to obtain it is by buying it directly from Elise in Tariv.
