How to Do Further Research Dispatch Missions in Crimson Desert

You might find some Dispatch Missions still unavailable even after clearing the areas they’re in. They’ll say “Further Research Required,” which can be confusing. Don’t worry, though – we have a guide to help you finish them.

If you want to unlock the Dispatch Missions that say “further research required”, you need to finish the “Taro Research” at the Gorthak Ironworks Research Institute. We’ll show you where to find the Institute and how to unlock the research below.

Taking on bigger dispatch missions gives you better rewards, so we suggest prioritizing research into them. However, you’ll need to complete Chapter 10 and free Gorthak before you can start that research.

How to Unlock Large-Scale Dispatch Missions in Crimson Desert

  • Large-Scale Dispatch Missions are unlocked from the “Taro Research” at the Gorthak Ironworks Research Institute.
  • This Research Institute can be found at the Zargan Tanworks, west of Gorthak.
  • To unlock this specific research task, you will first be required to unlock “Skilled Workflow Optimization Research”, which you can find on the map, north of the first “E” in “Delesyia” at the Krall Foundry.
  • Once this task has been completed, you can start the Taro Research task with Stonefell back at the Zargan Tankworks.
  • After 9 in-game hours, the Taro Research will halt production.

  • When production stops, head to the Gorthak Warehouse (shown in the first image above).
  • After speaking with the Gorthak Ironworks Research Assistant, you will be tasked with recovering x1 Taro.
  • You can find multiple Taro at the Beardtree Hills (shown in the third image above).
  • After obtaining x1 Taro, bring it back to the Gorthak Ironworks Research Assistant, and then the Taro Research task will resume for the final 9 hours.
  • Once the research task is complete, return to Stonefell at the Zargan Tankworks.
