Overwatch Season 2 Battle Pass Skins Leaked

Players are mostly looking forward to Overwatch Season 2 because of the new Damage hero, Sierra. However, the new cosmetic items are also generating excitement, and a recent leak has given fans a sneak peek at half of the battle pass rewards before they’re officially released.

A new skin is coming for the hero Sierra, giving her a fresh look. Unlike her standard outfit with a beret and pink ponytail, this battle pass skin shows her in more relaxed clothing. She’s wearing a paint-splattered waistcloth and a backwards cap, and her hair is now dark instead of pink. While her appearance changes, key elements like her crop top and drone holder stay the same. Interestingly, this skin doesn’t fit with the elven theme of Season 2, making it a unique addition.

Overwatch 2’s Season 2 Skin Lineup Brings a Panda, Mythics, and Tons of Elves to the Game

As Twitter user @intercellular pointed out, the rest of the battle pass skins lean heavily into an elf theme, featuring pointy-eared outfits for several characters.

  • Wuyang
  • Ashe
  • Illari
  • Lifeweaver

Although these four heroes—and likely future battle pass characters—share similar ear designs, they each have unique qualities. Illari’s glowing eyes give her a slightly unsettling look, and her nature-inspired outfit differs from Ashe’s floral style. It’s unknown if B.O.B. will also be designed as an elf, but considering how well weapons like Wuyang’s staff complement this type of skin, he’s expected to look great.

The seasonal bundle is back, offering players the in-game currency needed for the battle pass and a unique skin. Jetpack Cat is featured for the second season running, this time dressed as a cute panda instead of a fighter pilot. Looking ahead to new Mythic items, Genji will receive a fiery weapon resembling his Oni skin. Soldier: 76 will also get a Mythic skin, but details are still unknown and it’s unclear if it will match the current theme.

As a huge Overwatch fan, I’m so excited! We don’t have much longer to wait to see all the new skins – Season 2 drops on Tuesday, April 14th! I’m really hoping they release a trailer soon showing everything that’s coming. Until then, I’m having a blast with the April Fools’ mode, or just trying to improve my rank in competitive play.
