How to get the Veteran Perk in Black Ops 6

In Black Ops 6, the Veteran Perk can be acquired when all players cumulatively achieve 32 billion enemy kills (Community Eliminations) in Black Ops 6, Black Ops Zombies, and Warzone.

In this year’s Call of Duty series, The Hit List event extends across all its primary game modes. Yet, you don’t have to participate in every mode to earn the Veteran Perk. It’s not necessary to achieve a staggering 32 billion eliminations for that either.

Here’s how the scoring system works:

  • One Black Ops 6 multiplayer kill counts as one Elimination.
  • Five Black Ops 6 Zombies kills count as one Elimination.
  • One Warzone kill counts as five Eliminations.

When the combined total hits 32 billion, the Veteran Perk will be instantly granted to all participants. As of November 27th, we’ve amassed 21 billion so far, leaving us with just eight days remaining in the event.

Eventually, the Veteran Perk will be given to every player as a reward. Have you contributed enough to earn it too?

Do we Know what the Veteran Perk does in Black Ops 6?

Amazingly, we still don’t know what the Veteran Perk actually does in Black Ops 6!

In Black Ops 6, there’s been no disclosure about the gameplay modifier, as neither data mining nor leaks have revealed any information. The advertised perk, “The Hit List,” is marketed as a Veteran feature, but its specific capabilities remain a secret. I’ve checked my loadouts, and the Veteran perk is nowhere to be found, leaving us in the dark about what it can do.

To progress and gain the Veteran Perk, you need to consistently complete Community Kills as specified by the event’s requirements.
