Shytoshi Kusama Plans to Take SHIB to Top 5: Details

As a seasoned crypto investor with a penchant for the unconventional and a knack for spotting promising projects, I find Shytoshi Kusama’s recent tweet about Shiba Inu intriguing. With my years of experience in this wild, ever-evolving market, I’ve seen countless coins rise and fall, but none quite like the meme coin phenomenon.

In a recent tweet, the enigmatic Shiba Inu lead Shytoshi Kusama addressed issues of working with a meme coin to give it utility and then take it to the top five list of cryptocurrencies. He then specified that he was talking about SHIB.

Shytoshi Kusama’s intriguing meme coin tweet

The mysterious SHIB lead reposted a tweet that contains an AI-generated image. The image shows a painting on an office wall that shows a dramatic scene reminiscent of something religious and/or apocalyptic, full of chaos, with a guy sitting at his desk with similar chaos surrounding him.

Shytoshi Kusama employed this picture to convey his own idea. He posted on Twitter about striving to provide practical use to a meme coin, with additional ambitions to move it from the top 15 to the top 5 within less than five years, and all of this is being accomplished “on a shoestring budget.

Attempting to elevate a meme coin from the 15th position to the 5th within five years, on a limited budget – it’s quite the challenging and exciting journey, isn’t it? (Shoutout to Macbaconai for the inspiring thought!)

In another tweet, Shytoshi mentioned SHIB, which was created by an anonymous developer named Ryoshi and launched in August 2025. Later, in May 2022, Ryoshi left the public sphere, and Shytoshi Kusama took over as the project’s leader. If we assume that Shiba Inu is what he referred to in his tweet, then it could be interpreted as a suggestion that by 2025, SHIB has the potential to rank among the top five cryptocurrencies based on market capitalization size.

Instead of it being a subtle suggestion, it is more like a long-term desire or aim. In other words, what additional tasks or projects should I focus on to ensure overall success?

In a recent tweet, Shytoshi Kusama shared insights into his working routine, stating, “I put in 20-hour days for extended periods.” Furthermore, he mentioned that his responsibilities encompass creating posts on social media platforms and addressing questions or comments from the SHIB community.

SHIB burns spike 5,545%

This afternoon, Shiburn disclosed that the Shiba Inu community successfully moved a substantial number of SHIB tokens out of the current circulation within the last 24 hours.

As an analyst, I’ve observed a significant surge in the burn rate of Shiba Inu (SHIB) tokens. According to data from Shibburn, within the past 24 hours, approximately 61 million SHIB have been sent to non-spendable blockchain addresses. This represents an astonishing increase of over 5500% in the burn rate compared to previous periods. The largest single transaction involved a transfer of nearly 48 million SHIB tokens to a dead-end wallet, while other significant burns amounted to 6 million, 4 million, and 1.8 million SHIB tokens.
