One Piece Episode 1157 Release Date

I finally watched One Piece episode 1156, and it feels like the long-awaited Elbaf arc has truly begun! Though we didn’t actually see the Straw Hats arrive at Elbaf in this episode, the story followed three groups: the Straw Hats themselves, the Red Hair Pirates, and the Blackbeard Pirates. It was interesting to see how the episode split its focus between them.

A memorable scene from the latest One Piece episode featured the Red Hair Pirates arriving at Garter Island to deal with Bartolomeo and his crew. Bartolomeo’s group had already helped the islanders by driving out some troublemakers, and then started selling Straw Hat-themed goods. To make matters worse, they even shot down the Red Hair Pirates’ flag! When Shanks found out what Bartolomeo had done, he decided the young pirate needed to be corrected.

The Yonko Were At The Center Of Attention

Wow, the Red Hair Pirates didn’t waste any time! As soon as they arrived, they completely crushed the Barto Club. Then things got intense – one of Shanks’ crew gave Bartolomeo a terrible choice: poison Luffy or face death himself. Bartolomeo, being the ultimate loyal friend, actually drank the poison! But it turned out to be a test orchestrated by Shanks! He let the Barto Club go, but just when they thought they were safe, Yasopp shot their ship to the bottom. It was a brutal reminder that messing with a Yonko always comes with a price, no matter what!

The episode also highlighted the Blackbeard Pirates. His crew on Hachinosu Island were thrilled when Blackbeard returned from pursuing Trafalgar Law and collecting the Road Poneglyphs. However, he was angered to learn that Koby and Gecko Moria had escaped, as he’d been using them as leverage. Kuzan calmed him down, revealing they had captured someone even more valuable: Monkey D. Garp.

Many fans recall Garp going to Hachinosu to rescue Koby, but he unexpectedly ended up stranded there. While losing Koby seemed like a setback at the time, it actually benefited Blackbeard, who couldn’t use him for leverage. Now, with Garp in his possession, Blackbeard has a much stronger position to negotiate with the World Government. Meanwhile, Caribou has also arrived at Hachinosu, and he’s likely to reveal everything he knows about Poseidon, Pluton, and other important secrets.

The rest of the crew are completely panicked, having no clue where their friends could be.
