In the game Crimson Desert, Aeserion is a powerful, ancient god. Luckily, he’s left behind knowledge that lets you create incredibly strong gear. To start, you’ll need to find the Aeserion Gear Blueprint at the Serpent Shrine – we’ve included a map below to show you exactly where it is.
Okay, so I finally found the Blueprint, which is awesome! But now I need to figure out what I need to actually build these weapons, and where to find everything. Luckily, I’ve got all the info right here – a complete list of materials and where to get them, plus the stats for each weapon so I can decide if it’s even worth the effort!

How to Get the Aeserion Gear Blueprint in Crimson Desert
- Make sure you have Focused Force Palm, which is a skill you unlock in Chapter 5 during the “Forbidden Knowledge” questline.
- Head to Serpent Shrine, which is on the furthest south cliff of Demeniss, shown above.
- When facing east at the underside of the Serpent Shrine cliff, you can find an entrance that’s blocked off by a strange metal wall.
- Activate Focused Force Palm at the wall (Hold R3, then L3+R3) and release the buttons once you see the glowing gold orb from behind the wall to strike it.
- The wall will explode, and you can head inside to find a Treasure Chest that contains the Aeserion Gear Blueprint.
- Enter your inventory and select the Aeserion Gear Blueprint, where you can now read all the pages (including the left and right pages for each section).
To get all the crafting recipes, be sure to read every page in the Aeserion Gear Blueprint book. Start with the first two pages, then continue reading through the book until you’ve found all 10 recipes.
How to Craft Aeserion Weapons in Crimson Desert
Okay, so if I want to craft any of the Aeserion weapons, I need to gather three specific materials: Aeserion’s Scale, Platinum, and Bismuth Ore. I’ll break down how to get each of those in a sec. After that, the last couple of things I’ll need depend on which weapon I’m making, and thankfully I can just buy those from the Mineral Shops.
How to Get Aeserion’s Scale
- On the Serpent Shrine island, where you collected the Blueprint book, you can find Aeserion’s Scales.
- These items are scattered across the island and can be picked up with Axiom Force.
- You will need a Kuku Pot to store the items safely under “Seal” (Triangle/Y).
How to Get Platinum
- The first step is to get the Platinum Blueprint, which can be found on the top floor of the library in the Scholastone Institute, in the southeast corner.
- To craft Platinum, you will need to visit the Witch (one is found at the Witch Woods in Hernand).
- Select “Craft Abyss Gear” and press R2/RT to reach the “Special Items” tab. You will need the following items to craft the Platinum:

| Brimstone x4 | By the Hexe Sanctuary, just south of the Deadfire Mountain, you can find Hexe Brimstoneback Crabs that drop Brimstone when killed. |
| Mercury x3 | Unlock Charged Shot and Elemental Charged Shot in the Skills, and shoot the mercury blocks in the Smoking Lands pool, east of the Deadfire Mountain. |
| Holy Water x2 | Purchased from Churches. |
How to Get Bismuth Ore
- Bismuth Ore is easily found in the Valley of Grief in the Crimson Desert region.
- This is east of Tashkalp, and you can find a massive Bismuth Ore vein here.
- You will also find the Queen Bismuth Oreback Crab here, who, when killed, drops x50 Bismuth.
- If the crab is not here, simply complete Crimson Desert Faction Quests until you find this quest in the “Sage of the Desert” tab.
All Aeserion Weapons, Stats, & Materials
After learning the recipes from the Aeserion Gear Blueprint book, you can go to any Smithy and use the “Crafting” menu to make one of the 10 available weapons. These include 3 one-handed weapons, 6 two-handed weapons, and 1 bow.

Just a heads-up for anyone trying to build a character – if you’re playing as Kliff, don’t bother trying to get the Aeserion Greataxe, Greathammer, or Warhammer. They’re Oongka-exclusive weapons, meaning Kliff can’t use them. I was hoping to equip one on him, but sadly it’s not possible!
