How to Get Level 12 Spirit in Crimson Desert

Using your Abyss Artifacts to increase your Spirit is a smart move. Spirit powers up your mystical abilities and makes your attacks stronger. Having maxed-out Spirit will make battles much easier, so it’s best to unlock these skills as soon as possible.

To maximize your Spirit, you’ll need to finish the Mysterious Wild Ginseng Energy Research at the Pororin Institute. This takes time and requires collecting Wild Ginseng, and we’ll show you how to do it quickly so you can boost your Spirit as fast as possible.

You’ll need to finish the “Unreachable Village” quest to get into Pororin village. You can find a helpful guide right here.

How to Get Max Spirit in Crimson Desert

To get to Level 12 Spirit, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Unlock the Mysterious Wild Ginseng Energy Research at the Pororin Institute.
  • Collect x10 Wild Ginseng.

We’ll explain in-depth the steps below!

How to Unlock & Complete Mysterious Wild Ginseng Energy Research in Crimson Desert

  • Once you’ve unlocked Pororin in “The Unreachable Village” Faction Quest, venture south to the Patalton Workshop to find Lumiel, who leads the Pororin Research Institute.
  • Complete the “Natural Harmony Research” request from Lumiel, which requires you to find Lavender.
  • Then, complete the “Medicinal Herbs Research” which can be found in your Pororin Faction Quests.
  • Finally, you can return to Lumiel and purchase “Wild Ginseng Energy Research” for 130 Silver Coins.
  • After 11 in-game hours, progress will be halted.

  • When progress stops (“Wild Ginseng Research Halted” quest), venture to Pororin to find the Pororin Research Assistant and speak with them.
  • You will be tasked with collecting x1 Wild Ginseng, and plenty can be found in the Deepwoods, north of the Steel Mountains in Hernand (which we’ve tagged on the map above).
  • Make sure to collect all the Wild Ginseng in this area, as you’ll need it later!
  • Return to the Pororin Research Assistant to hand them x1 Wild Ginseng, and then research will resume.
  • Finally, after a total of 22 in-game hours, you can return to Lumiel to claim the research task as complete.

How to Get Wild Ginseng in Crimson Desert

  • To level up Spirit past Level 8, you need just x10 Wild Ginseng.
  • We’ve tagged the location of Wild Ginseng on the map, which should harvest you x10 Wild Ginseng (if you’ve also collected some from the Deepwoods).
  • If the Wild Ginseng found in the Wayward Woods , north of the “S” in “Silver Wolf Mountain”, Pailune, isn’t enough, then there’s another method.
  • Venture to Howling Hill Camp and upgrade it to get the garden.
  • Open your inventory and hold X/A on a Wild Ginseng to claim a seed, then plant it in your garden and wait 3-5 in-game days for it to grow.
