Varnia is located far away, making it one of the last places you’ll explore in Crimson Desert. You can find this hidden city in the northeasternmost part of the map, and we’ve included a route and map below to help you get there.

Here’s a guide to unlocking fast travel in Varnia and ringing the Varnia Bell Tower, which will fully open up the map for easier exploration of the Crimson Desert. You’ll find everything you need to know below to make the most of your journey.

We suggest traveling to Varnia using the Blackstar Dragon mount, available starting in Chapter 11. This is due to dangerous sandstorms in the Trader’s Expanse that can unexpectedly move you to a different location.

How to Find Varnia in Crimson Desert (& Unlock Fast Travel)

Varnia is located in the farthest northeast part of Pywel from the Crimson Desert region.

Starting in the Crimson Desert, travel north through the Trader’s Expanse. Continue across the sands until you reach Varnia Gorge, and then cross the bridge to get to Varnia.

To find the Abyss Nexus fast travel point, go under the letter “R” in “Varnia”. You’ll find a platform there that lets you quickly return to this spot – we’ve highlighted its location on the map.

How to Use the Varnia Bell Tower in Crimson Desert

  • In the center of Varnia, you can find the large Bell Tower, noted for its blue roof.
  • Climb the building and enter through the roof, where you can then find a handle on the center stone platform.
  • Use the Left Stick to push the lever, which will open the blue roof into a flower.
  • Once the lever has been moved all the way to one direction, the bell will drop down into the center.
  • Jump into the platform containing the bell, and you can now ring it to remove the fog around the map.
