A Pokémon enthusiast has built LEGO versions of Dwebble and Crustle, demonstrating their dedication to the franchise. The creator used a surprisingly small number of LEGO pieces to make remarkably accurate models of the Pokémon, and the designs have been well-received by fans online.
It’s surprising, but The Pokémon Company just recently partnered with LEGO to create official sets for fans. These sets, including popular Pokémon like Eevee and Pikachu, started appearing in early 2026. However, Pokémon fans have been building their own amazing LEGO creations for years! With over a thousand different Pokémon across nine generations of games, these fan-made builds come in a huge variety of designs and sizes.
LEGO Versions of Dwebble and Crustle Gain Fan Appreciation
A LEGO fan named Infopl on Reddit recently built incredible LEGO versions of the Pokémon Dwebble and Crustle, two Bug/Rock-type Pokémon from the fifth generation of games. These Pokémon resemble crustaceans, with Crustle being the evolved form of Dwebble and having a larger, rocky shell. Infopl skillfully captured their crab-like look using just a small number of LEGO bricks, accurately recreating details like their black eyes and distinctive shells. They shared photos of the builds on Reddit, showcasing the pieces used in the project.
New LEGO Pokémon designs are getting a lot of attention on the Pokémon subreddit, with the post receiving hundreds of upvotes and positive feedback. While the creator, Infopl, hasn’t shared building instructions for the Dwebble and Crustle models, the photos in the Reddit post offer a good visual guide to the LEGO pieces used. Because these Pokémon are relatively small, building them shouldn’t be too expensive.
LEGO fans continue to build incredible Pokemon creations with models like Dwebble and Crustle. With so many Pokemon to choose from, it will likely take a long time for LEGO to officially release sets of all the favorites. Luckily, talented builders are stepping up to create their own versions, allowing fans to enjoy LEGO Pokemon builds even when official sets aren’t available. One recent example is a fantastic LEGO Magnemite built to the same scale as the popular Eevee set.

It’s great that Pokémon finally has LEGO sets, but many fan-made designs online are just as impressive. It will be interesting to see what other sets LEGO creates based on the Pokémon universe, and what creative builds fans come up with in the future.
