Xbox Game Pass Adds Day-One Cyberpunk Game and 2 Other Titles

Okay, so Xbox Game Pass just dropped three new games today, and I’m super excited about one in particular – it’s called Replaced, and it looks like a really cool cyberpunk action platformer. It’s awesome how many games they’ve added this month already – eight in April alone! And if you add it all up, that’s 62 new games on Game Pass since January. Definitely getting my money’s worth!

Replaced is the first game from Sad Cat Studios, an independent developer originally based in Belarus. Following the 2022 invasion of Ukraine, the studio moved to Cyprus. The game is a 2.5D action platformer set in a cyberpunk version of 1980s America, specifically the city of Phoenix City, which is entirely controlled by the powerful Phoenix Corporation. Players take on the role of an AI created by Phoenix Corp, now inhabiting a human body, as it investigates the mystery of its origins and why the corporation brought it into existence. First revealed at the Xbox Games Showcase in June 2021, Replaced was originally planned for release in 2022, but its launch has been delayed several times.

3 New Titles Now Available on Xbox Game Pass

The highly anticipated game Replaced was released on PC and consoles on April 14th, becoming available internationally at 9 a.m. Eastern Time. As promised by developer Sad Cat Studios years ago, the game launched directly into Xbox Game Pass. Joining Replaced on the service are Hades 2 from Supergiant Games and The Thaumaturge from Fool’s Theory. These three additions represent the biggest content update for Xbox Game Pass this April.

After officially launching out of early access in late September 2025, Supergiant Games’ roguelike action RPG, Hades 2, was first released on PC, Mac, and Nintendo Switch 2. Today marks the game’s debut on Xbox Series X/S, making it the second game added to Xbox Game Pass on April 14th that was available to play from day one, though not entirely. The Thaumaturge, a turn-based RPG set in an alternate version of 20th-century Warsaw, is the only one of the three new games that wasn’t a day-one release, as it originally came out in March 2024.
