As a seasoned Pokémon GO player with years of catching ’em all under my belt, I must say that every week’s spotlight hour is like a sweet, sugary treat for us trainers. This time around, it’s Sableye taking center stage! Now, Sableye might not be everyone’s favorite due to its… let’s say, unique looks, but there’s no denying that it’s a fan-favorite for many of us veterans.
The special hour dedicated to a single Pokemon in Pokemon GO’s weekly Spotlight Hour is approaching again next Tuesday, marking its debut for December 2024. This event, which occurs every week, attracts many enthusiastic players who eagerly anticipate their chance to focus on this featured Pokemon.
During each special “Pokemon GO” Spotlight Hour, players can potentially encounter a shimmering, rare version of the featured Pokemon. Additionally, these hours offer benefits to enhance your account, including extra candy, experience points, and other perks. This guide provides all the essential details for this week’s Pokemon GO Spotlight Hour event.
Pokemon GO Sableye Spotlight Hour
As a dedicated Pokémon Go enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM in my local time zone, we’ll be enjoying another Spotlight Hour! Each week, this special event features a unique Pokémon, and this week, it’s none other than the intriguing Sableye. This Pokémon is cherished by many players for its distinct characteristics that set it apart from others in the Pokémon universe. I can hardly wait to catch more of these fascinating creatures during this hour!
Preparing To Catch Sableye
Individuals intending to join this upcoming event with the aim of capturing a Sableye should make sure they have plenty of Poke Balls and berries on hand, as these items can boost the chances of successfully catching the Pokemon. During this Spotlight Hour, you’ll encounter more Sableye than usual, and each catch will grant double Stardust! This means players stand to gain significantly during the initial Spotlight Hour for December.
Things To Know About Sableye
Sableye is a Pokemon that belongs to both the dark type and ghost type families, and it’s identified as #0302 in the Pokedex. It made its appearance during Generation 3, and unlike many other Pokemon, it doesn’t have any forms to evolve into. However, it can transform into Mega Sableye by using 100 Mega Energy initially, and then only 20 Mega Energy after its first evolutionary stage.
One way to rephrase that sentence would be: You can acquire Sableye Mega Energy by participating in Mega Sableye raids, having Sableye as your Buddy Pokemon, or finishing Research Tasks.
Sableye’s Stats & Moveset In Pokemon Go
Sableye has 1,668 CP (Combat Power). Sableye is weak to only Fairy-Type attacks (160%) but takes Reduced damage from fighting-type, poison-type (63%), and normal-type, psychic-type (39%). The best types of attacks that Sableye has are Shadow Claw and Foul Play; these attacks have 8.33 DPS (Damage Per Second) and a 78.60 TDO (Total Damage Output).
Using Sableye in Foggy Weather could enhance its attack potential due to the weather’s influence. Additionally, Sableye has a shimmering shiny form. The standard Sableye is identified by a red gem on its chest, blue eyes, and a purple body. On the other hand, the shiny Sableye boasts a green gem instead of a red one, silver eyes, and a yellow body instead of purple.
Currently, when I’m writing this, Sableye doesn’t possess any Dynamax abilities. However, that may alter in the future, but for now, it lacks anything related to Dynamax.
