The Inked stage in Escape Simulator features approximately nine puzzles. This level is centered around artwork, meaning many of the challenges involve either creating drawings or carefully examining existing ones. This guide provides solutions to all the puzzles in the Inked stage, as well as the locations of all the tokens.

Escape Simulator Inked Stage Puzzle Solutions & Token Locations

The Inked stage in Escape Simulator is packed with puzzles. Because it takes place in a single room, you’ll need to solve many riddles to finish the level. Here’s a rundown of those puzzles:

Pen Image Puzzle

Right after you go through the starting gate, you’ll find a paper clue. This clue will help you solve the puzzle with the ink pen image.

The goal is to pick the right component to make the exact same pen as the one in the picture.

Once done, take the ink box that’s blocking the way, and you’ll earn one ink for your pen.

Token #1

Before moving on, collect the first token by the root of the tree, on one of the pink blossoms.

Pattern Pillar Puzzle

The next challenge features five pillars decorated with flower designs. You need to find matching patterns on any two of the pillars.

Here’s the answer if you don’t want to keep staring at them.

Pick up the two Roller Plates as a reward.

Token #2

Look up from the chest, and you’ll find the second token up the tree.

Blue Door Puzzle

Close to the gate, you’ll find a chest with useful things inside – a brick, a roller plate, and a clue. Be sure to collect everything!

Before going down to the pillar puzzle, there’s also another brick. Take it.

Go to the blue door and open the small door to start building with the bricks. Your task is to recreate the pattern on the right side, exactly as it appears, on the left side.

Bird – Butterfly – Web – Cherry Puzzle

Okay, so right in front of that blue door, you’ll get your first clue about what’s inside that blue door. Basically, the puzzle asks you to match shapes to different stages of life shown in the images. It’s all about finding the form that best represents each image’s life cycle – pretty clever, actually!

Here’s the full answer to the puzzle.

Pick up the Blank Canvas as your reward.

Token #3

Before exiting, crouch and claim the third token.

Shape Stamp Puzzle

Pick up the Roller Plate puzzle in the starting chest, if you haven’t yet.

Then the one near the pen puzzle.

And another near the blue door.

First, place the Roller Plate on the puzzle – this will reset it to a clean starting point. Your aim is to collect the correct shapes so you can stamp them onto the floor pattern.

First, put a square-circle plate in the right slot, on the front side.

Then choose a triangle-circle for the back side.

Next, go to the left slot and place a triangle-circle for the front side.

Put a triangle-square for the back side.

The middle slot is a little different. Put a triangle-square in the middle.

Now, you must rotate the stamp.

Rotate until you’re seeing circle-blank-circle.

Place a square-circle on the front side.

Lastly, turn the roller once more until the top shows a triangle, then two squares, and the bottom shows a circle, a square, and another circle.

Roll the stamp and claim the Brush Box as a prize.

White And Yellow Squares Puzzle

Pick up the hint to the puzzle in the starting box, if you haven’t yet.

Use the pen to create a way up, then take the ledge so you have enough ink to reach the puzzle.

Your task is to recreate the image shown. A white square moves according to the pattern created by the yellow squares next to it. Change the arrangement of the yellow squares to achieve the desired shape.

You’ll get a key from this puzzle.

Token #4

Claim the fourth token on the side before you head down.

Token #5

Keep flipping the pages by the penguin choir and find the fifth token at the end of the page.

Bridge Mini Puzzle​​​​​

Use the key from the yellow-white square puzzle in the locked box across the penguin choir.

Pick up the ink with your pen.

Make a box on the pressure plate to activate the bridge.

Cross the bridge and drag the Weighted Cube to the other side.

Reclaim your ink and place the Weighted Cube to keep the bridge active.

Fish Puzzle

Place the Empty Canvas and Brush Box you have to activate the fishpond puzzle.

The goal is to touch all the lines in this pattern: Triangle > Square > Pentagon

You’ll get a lock code for completing the task.

Token #6

In the sea behind the canvas is token #6.

Token #7

Observe the fishpond to claim the seventh token.

Bird Cage Puzzle

Use your ink to create a way for the ball to roll down.

Claim the flower key from the bird.

Token #8

Crouch and see the top of the cage for the final token in the Inked stage in Escape Simulator​​​​​​.

Flower Squares Gate Puzzle

Okay, so I’ve got this key and I need to use it on the puzzle by the gate. Basically, I have to figure out the pattern on one pillar and then match it to the one on the other. Sounds tricky, but I think I can do it!

Place the following pattern, then press the button on top to copy it horizontally.

Then, use the button on the side to copy it vertically.

It should look like this now.

Add the boxes you need for the bottom-left box, then copy it vertically again.

Finally, remove the box you don’t need from the top-left zone to make a matching pattern.

Pick up your newly made key and place it on the other pillar to unlock the gate.

This way, you’ve completed the Inked stage in Escape Simulator with all eight tokens available.
