Dragon Ball: 7 Times Krillin Got Embarrassed By His Opponent

Krillin, Son Goku’s longtime friend, is one of the strongest human fighters in the Dragon Ball universe. He’s a highly experienced warrior who consistently supports Goku and defends Earth from threats. Even though he isn’t as powerful as Goku, fans admire Krillin for his dedication and strength throughout the Dragon Ball series.

Krillin definitely isn’t immune to embarrassing defeats in Dragon Ball. Even with all his training, he’s still been beaten badly by stronger enemies. Like Yamcha, Krillin is sometimes played for laughs due to his mistakes during fights.

Bulma Saves Krillin From General Blue

Bulma and Krillin were searching for a Dragon Ball in an underwater cave when they were pursued by General Blue, a high-ranking officer from the Red Ribbon Army. General Blue is very concerned with his appearance and considers himself handsome. When Krillin accidentally injured his nose during a fight, General Blue became furious and easily defeated him.

Just as General Blue was about to crush Krillin with a large rock, Bulma arrived and saved him. She cleverly distracted the General with her charm, buying Krillin enough time for Son Goku to come and protect them. Without Bulma’s intervention, Krillin likely wouldn’t have survived.

Jackie Chun Knocks Krillin Out

Krillin’s first match in the World Martial Arts Tournament was against Jackie Chun, who was actually Master Roshi in disguise. Although Krillin fought hard, some of his attempts to win were so comical and awkward that they’ve become iconic moments in Dragon Ball.

During the tournament match, Krillin surprisingly used a woman’s underwear as a distraction, giving him the opportunity to eliminate Jackie Chun. He also put Jackie Chun in a tough spot, forcing him to perform the Kamehameha wave simply to avoid being disqualified.

To make matters worse, Krillin had his hand slapped by his opponent and was even forced into a humiliating rock-paper-scissors match for the crowd’s amusement. He lost the fight, but that wasn’t a surprise.

Frieza Blows Krillin Into Pieces

I remember watching Krillin’s death on Namek – it was truly the breaking point for Goku. Seeing his friend fall at the hands of Frieza was what finally triggered Goku’s first transformation into a Super Saiyan. Though it was a pivotal moment, the way Krillin went down wasn’t exactly heroic or dignified, honestly.

Frieza easily grabbed Krillin and, without even getting close, brutally killed him with a simple gesture. He lifted Krillin into the air and caused him to explode, leaving absolutely nothing behind. Krillin was completely defenseless and didn’t have a chance to fight back.

Dracula Man Sucks Krillin’s Blood

During the Dragon Ball series, Krillin battles Dracula Man inside Fortune Teller Baba’s Palace. Dracula Man appears frail, leading Krillin to underestimate him. Instead of focusing on the fight, Krillin brags about his power to Goku and the others.

Krillin struggles against Dracula Man, who is simply too quick to be hit. Dracula Man’s ability to transform into a bat adds to Krillin’s frustration, as he can’t seem to land any attacks. To make matters worse, Dracula Man fights unfairly, even using a distracting dance before striking.

To make matters worse, Dracula Man managed to bite Krillin on the head, draining his blood with his fangs. This left Krillin looking like he’d grown hair due to the blood on his bald head, which Goku and Yamcha didn’t hesitate to tease him about. Krillin ultimately lost the fight and needed a blood transfusion from losing so much blood.

Super Buu Turns Krillin into Chocolate

Super Buu is one of the most dangerous of all Buu’s forms. He’s unpredictable, switching between being cruel and childish, which makes him a terrifying opponent. After escaping the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, he quickly traps Krillin and the others at Kami’s Lookout.

Although Krillin’s bravery in confronting Super Buu was admirable, it unfortunately made things even more dangerous. Suddenly, Super Buu blasted Krillin with a Chocolate Beam, instantly transforming him into a chocolate bar, shocking everyone watching. To make matters worse, Super Buu then ate the chocolate without a second thought.

Son Goku Officially Defeats Krillin

Everyone was excited to see Son Goku and Krillin fight in the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament because they both trained under Master Roshi. As soon as the match began, they immediately started battling, putting all their skills to the test.

Goku still had a few surprises left, and he used them to overcome Krillin. He hit Krillin with a Kamehameha, landed on top of him, and moved so fast it seemed like multiple Gokues were attacking at once. Before Krillin could react, Goku rapidly struck him all over, leaving everyone, including the audience, stunned by the speed and force of the attack.

Frost Eliminates Krillin

During the Tournament of Power in Dragon Ball Super, Krillin tries a funny tactic to defeat Majora. Much to Android 18’s dismay, he throws a smelly shoe at Majora, throwing him off balance, and then finishes him off with a Kamehameha wave.

Everyone, including Beerus, was impressed with his performance, but Frost quickly ruined Krillin’s moment of celebration. He unexpectedly kicked Krillin off the arena, knocking him out of the competition. When Krillin rejoined the group, Beerus immediately retracted his praise and began to insult him.
