In the case of the Scurvy Rod, players can purchase it for 50,000 Tokens only by visiting the pirate lair in Forsaken Shores in Fisch.

All you need is a boat which can be purchased from Moosewood Island’s pier, and then sail directly towards Roslit Bay. Ascend using the ladders until you’re above the rock that looks like a skull. Then, jump down and enter the cave through the eye socket opening.
At that location, players will encounter a Non-Player Character who can assist with locating Treasure Maps. To his right, you’ll see the Scurvy Rod, but remember, it doesn’t come for free. You should only aim to acquire it when you have accumulated 50,000 Tokens or more.
