He cautions that these details aren’t fully confirmed, so fans should view them as unconfirmed rumors. According to Straw, we can expect a reveal before the end of May and a release sometime this summer, likely in June or July. Max Holloway, a former UFC Featherweight Champion, is expected to be featured on one of the game’s covers, and Alex Pereira may be on another, as there will be multiple cover editions.
Sources suggest that EA Sports UFC 6 will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, and this time, EA also plans to release it on PC. Insider Straw Serket has reported that the PC version has been in development since UFC 4 and is expected to launch sometime after the console release. While the studio is reportedly aiming for a Fall 2026 release on PC, this information hasn’t been officially confirmed yet.
Straw also mentioned some updates to gameplay in the new game compared to EA Sports UFC 5. While grappling might see some adjustments in UFC 6, it’s expected to be largely similar to the previous version. The biggest changes, however, will be to the striking system, which will now focus more on building and maintaining momentum.
Fans hoping for crossplay in the latest game might be disappointed again. A reporter says crossplay was considered for EA Sports UFC 6, but it’s unclear if it will actually be included. Also, someone claiming to be in the know mentioned a new game mode featuring Max Holloway, but its accuracy is doubtful.
