Okay, so there are a bunch of amazing legendary horses you can get in the game, but honestly, I think Royler is the best – I’ll explain why below. If you’re curious about all of them though, I’ve put together a guide right after this to help you find the others!
How to Get the Best Horse in Crimson Desert

- Royler is a legendary horse found south of the “P” in “Pailune” at the Snowgrass Hearth lake.
- To obtain Royler, you will need at least +10 Stamina from the Skills menu, as attempting to tame a wild horse like this isn’t going to be easy.
- Tame Royler simply by holding the Left Stick in the same direction as Royler’s tail until the horse calms itself.
- The reason we picked Royler was that he is the fastest horse in the game, boasting the best Stamina, Movement Speed, and Acceleration of any horse.

Best Horse Equipment in Crimson Desert
- To start, enter Castle Delesyia (with the Visione equipped) and purchase the Delesyian Crown for 70 Contribution Points at the Contribution Shop (marked on the map above).
- You can now equip the Delesyian Crown and purchase the best horse equipment from the Deleysia Saddlery, also shown in the image above.
Here’s a breakdown of the costs and quantities of everything you’ll need to buy. Just so you know, the Barding will be available for purchase separately in Varnia, and we’ll cover that at the end of this guide.
Best Champron
- The best Champron is the “Delesyian Champron”, which is purchased for 71.67 Silver Coins.
- This provides the horse with +15 Attack.
Best Saddle
- The best Saddle is the “Delesyian Saddle”, which can be purchased for 50.20 Silver Coins.
- This provides the horse with +400 Health.
Best Horseshoes
- The best Horseshoes are the “Four-Leaf Horseshoes”, which are purchased for 54.10 Silver Coins.
- This provides the horse with +8 Attack and +5 Stamina every 1 second.
Best Stirrups
- The best Stirrups are the “Delesyian Stirrups”, which can be purchased for 15.51 Silver Coins, but you will first need +100 Trust with the Saddelry vendor by gifting Ores.
- This provides the horse with +0.8 Health every 1 second.
Best Barding
- To get the best Barding, you will need to visit the Varnia Contribution Shop (marked on the image above) and purchase and equip the Varnia Crown for 70 Contribution Points.
- Now, head to the Saddlery (marked on the image above) and purchase the Hagmund Barding for 85 Silver Coins, as this has a total of 80 Defense.
